Absolutely brilliant ! An inspired choice of music and I love that colour scheme. It's a good job it was heading inland when the rudder parted company or it would've found a new owner in Ireland !🤣👍
My Pops and I had a couple of the foam Lazy Bees from Cox Hobbies when they were brand new. Cheap, Cox two channel radios and a little Cox .049 for power that would run for about three minutes or so. We'd launch them together at the local flying field, and guys would laugh because Cox RC Models weren't taken serious. But then we'd be up in the thermals for 20 minutes or so, land to refuel and be right back up while the 'serious modellers' were still trying to get their fancy engines to run long enough to taxi out. Eventually, one guy's like, "Where the heck did you get those things. You guys been up all day!" The Cox version was barely a pimple on a real Bee's butt for performance, but they flew like home-sick angels. I wish I still had them.
Whenever I watch these types of videos I am always determined to get involved in these hobbies BUT then reality sets in. I am already older and don't have enough time for the little things I do now. You might try an RC simulator for computer like Real Flight. If you crash in that, no harm, no foul. If you get so you can fly what you want in that you can reasonably expect to fly a model. RTF (ready to fly), electric power & simulators have made RC a lot easier.

Fantastic! I built a really great towline glider back in the day (called the 'Jetco 50') but no R/C. You made your own fuse and tied it to the rubber band the secured the tail assembly.
