- In this video I return to an old detecting spot with a underwater scooter to help remove sand and silt. I find some Civil War bullets, coins, buttons, and other odds and ends.

If you ever find zippo lighters you can send em back to the company and they actually repair it for free no matter what condition it's in and even if you didn't buy it. They even send back the broken parts and stuff.
Thanks, Your videos are always a pleasure to watch. No cursing or trashy talk is refreshing,
The contents are lots of fun to watch. I never would have thought I would be an armchair adventurer! Oh well, an armchair is a little better than a box!
Thanks from Staunton Virginia!
i am blown away at how many screws/nails you find. People wonder why i always wear foot protection when i go anywhere in the water...this is a perfect example why i do that.
Its really sad that the rivers in America is so trashy. Where i live the rivers are pretty clean most places and you will not be able to find all this kind of junk there, like nails, car batterys and what not.. that would maby be common in the rivers runniong trough the cities' but not out in the middle of nowhere... you may find sinkers there.... do people in USA just throw their trash into rivers ? wauw.
LOL!! Great video! It takes a dedicated relic hunter to go swimming in a river during winter!!! It was a decent haul!
Beau, another fun video! My 4 year old and I sat down and watched it together. Thanks again!!
One thing about going out when it's so cold is you don't have a lot of competition lol. Thanks for another entertaining video.
Wow, can't believe how many nails and screws your pick picked up in just those small areas! I must remember not to walk around in small rivers and creeks without water shoes. I don't need a rusty nail or screw stabbed into my foot. So many of those square nails!
Man, I feel your pain in that cold water. Thanks for doing it for us. Great watching you hunt.
I love it when you point things out like the beaver slide....You'd be a good detective Beau!
You sir are a brave man. Frigid water temps and soggy beaver poo! Nice hunt! Hope you had a little something to warm you up afterwards! Thanks for sharing!
Very nice find. Lots of stuff in there. Love the Henry bullet.
Nice video! Great finds. You should take you're little friend to the spot where you found all the silver coins!
That looks like a Zippo lighter you found. If it is old it is valuable. They have a lifetime guarantee so if you mail it to them, they will get it in working condition again. It is at 10:03 in the video on the bottom middle.

I'm always amazed at your ingenuity when it comes to relic hunting, be it the AquaChigg Mini or the blower. As always an excellent video and I'm looking forward to the spring hunts! Best wishes and the best of luck.
Another great video. Nice idea with the Sea-Doo - just like the mailboxes used by shipwreck hunters.
love the sounds ,used to hunt in the Alafia river found mostley fossels than anything else ,but great fun.
It was a 2 ring Beaver Sphincter Bullet! Nice finds.
Always like to see different ways of hunting. Amazing where all the nails and dross comes from.
Happy Holidays and happy hunting
Mal
Your videos are awesome! They are so informative, done very well, making you feel like you're right there. Very cool!!
I grew up swimming in a mountain river & the water was always warmest in the fall, it was warmer than the air
nice spin - that scooter job works great.
god i hate being cold -i was under dressed today as it got late.
great job - GL HH
Beau
Great to see ya in the mud over the festive period and have a wonderful time of it with all your treasures from the deep
Another great piece of directing and editing especially when the fanning machine was deployed really exciting to see for the first time
Good on ya kiddo
Some great finds, Beau. I never would have thought there were so many nails and screws in there! Jeez, I wonder what kind of stuff I could find in the Mississippi River up here. (Course, it's frozen right now.) Another awesome video!
Another good hunt and video Beau. Got quite a few nice relics there. Good luck on your next. :)
Love that magnet - great idea even for iron in holes on dry land! But I'd rather not disturb all the silt, personally.
Great video Beau. Amazing how many iron objects are down there.
GL & HH and Happy New Year!
Mark
You did well, way to brave the cold. I always enjoy your videos.
Hi Beau, nice video, i can feel the cold in the way your talking! Brrrrrrrr , i love the old spoon...really nice finds. many thanks for showing your videos over the last year! .all the best for the new year! I hope its a "golden" one for you! cheers,g.:)
Great video Beau! Sounds like the water temperature was brutal! Keep it up!!
Thanks to you Beau, I just identified a piece that I dug from an indian camp site on my property in Texas. It was the shoulder appellate. (I don't know if that is spelled correctly) I am in aww. I thought it might have been a piece off of furniture. Did union and rebel uniforms have these? Mine is identical to the two you pulled up, maybe a tad smaller, its kind of hard to scale.
Thanks Beau, your vids are great and you inspire me to get out there. I do a lot of home sites and ghost towns in my area etc. I do have 2 more intriguing pieces that I found in this same site I would like for you to see. Both made of brass. Do you have an e-mail or a public forum that you are on? I would love to show you pics and maybe help I.D. them. If not, that's cool, I know there are a lot of freaks on here you would want to limit contact as much as possible.lol Thanks.
It's cold? Suck it up and find us some treasure! Bwahahahahahah! Thanks for the entertainment. Be safe.
every time you go under water (just about) it sounds like somebody playing a rubber-band guitar (or trying). 😄
Very nice finds Beau! Might I make a suggestion on combating the cold temperatures in the water, at least as far as your hands are concerned. Since we detect all year long here in Alaska, I found that wearing mechanics disposable work gloves work excellent in keeping my hands warm. I found them at a local auto parts store, by the brand name "Raven". they're black and heavy duty so they don't rip as easy as the hospital ones do. But what they do do is give me a thermal barrier against the weather. the colder it gets, I just add another layer and I'm good to go. I maintain the majority of finger sensitivity for feeling objects but my hands stay warm when I pull my digging gloves off Hope this helps mate. Again, great finds and looking forward to your next video! Doug
thanks for taking the vids, great work beau, have a great new year
Good video Beau but way to cold for me. Nice haul of flat buttons and bullets
hey advice during this video I saw a square nail that you picked up with the magnet so just always check the nails
I got me a big magnet today. Now to harness it to a rope and try some of the ponds.
can't wait for spring!keep the videos coming!
Chiggenheimer is going all Jacques Cousteau on us. Dig the ‘reef blower’ and water jet kayak from another video.
That was a civil war beaver poo! nab it!
I had to cover myself with a blanket to watch this.....LOL
That water is ssoooo clear😱😂
Now you're down to brass tacks Beau!
all the best beau, happy new year to you and all you care for
bry
Really enjoyed the video! Thanks for braving the cold water for all of us! lol
Damn you make some great videos! Thanks for sharing.
Some really nice finds! The cold water has to get painful. The first time I've seen the scooter, Is that the last time? Enjoyed.
why are all these relics in creeks? you make some awesome videos bro. thanks for sharing with us!
It made me cold watching this Beau, it wasn't just the water though, so much trash isn't saying much for the environment over there but hopfully it put's some brass in your pocket if you trade it in. Have a happy new year Beau and your family. Kevin.
I've been waiting for a new video. Thank you, sir.
So even the beavers are pooping out minni balls...nice
You forgot to tell me to hold my breath. Nearly drowned! 😂
man every time you go under i wanna hold my breath too. lol
Well no Marty Robins reference this time but great Video! Lol! Stay golden. Happy New Year!
cool finds I like how you have found hundreds if not thousands of minnie balls and act like its nothing when you find them in these videos. cool videos keep them comming
Well. It’s about time Beau! I thought I would not see you till spring? So all that said; thanks for the new video! And As always, thanks’ for taking the time to make this video! And I support this site. ~M~
Another nice video and hunt Beau.
Beau, do you think the civil war solders, may have used the river to take a bath, and fish , I can only imagine how they must have loathed the rations, and how hot it was and dirty they where, - Man when they got next to that river , they made a bee line to it
Do you wear a 3 mil suit? Ever thought of a pony bottle strapped to the back instead of the hookah? Might save some headache dragging all that gear around. Good finds and thanks for sharing. Always love your underwater hunts. :)
Yep I understand. I switch to my dry suit this time of year. Thanks again for sharing.
Love all your videos! Keep them coming :)
LOL at the very end, I thought that was a bullet (10:35)
I am envious!
A mini ball of beaver poo. Most of my creek area is too shaded to see anything and there's nearly zero civil war era items. Drat.
Looks like the last water video until Spring! When does it start to get warm enough for you to go back out? And man, I can't believe all that iron in one spot!
Great video brother... I never thought of treasure hunting rivers like this. Will be doing it this summer . You should check out Charleston South Carolina sometime. It is a treasure hunters gold mine. Proverbs 3:5-6
great video beau some cool finds :-) was that a zippo lighter i saw at the end just out of shot ?..amazing how many nails and screws are on the bottom :-) ..have a great new year beau ..oh and what the heck is a beaver slide ? lol
it might not have been one beau it was when you panned down at the end just below all the nails and screws ..its funny how animals work be great to watch them sliding down lol
Damn look at that rock hand at around 6.33.
Dam Beau..
I don't know how you do that cold.... Ewwwwww...
Bryan
nice work with the scooter fan!!! if there's low water current, do you have to wait a bit for the water to clear out to see the bottom, or can you easily blow the murkiness away as you're fanning?
Nice CW relics Beau and smart idea to take a blower, just awesome !
Best wishes for 2014 and keep uploading the fantastic videos.
GL&HH
Dan
Hey man, i was thinking.. Meteorites are composed of iron.
If you ever stumble across rocks that are magnetized by your magnet, i would hold onto them as meteorites are highly sought after and usually have nice price tags for even small specimens
you can cut them open and every piece is different with psychedelic looking colors and minerals strewn throughout.
even if you dont sell em... hell you have something that dropped outta space
***** I think some detector folks call them "hot rocks." You're right about their value. The recent meteor in Russia brought detectorists out of the woodwork.
As always very nice vid Beau, keep it up ;)
AquaChiggar, Hello, I was going to ask what that big thing was but then you said it was a blower. Some nice finds there with the buttons and bullets and I thought that I saw some like jingle bells in the pile of trash that you said you were going to go through! So, does the Blower blow gold out of the crevies? Or does it just blow out the loose soil? GL and HH!!!
very good thank you.
Nice finds!
i don't mind water but hate cold water, was losing my breath watching you go under every time. Great finds, I am sure there is more to be found there just maybe save it for fairer weather lol.
I love watching your videos! I have a question, when you are filming under water, or just anywhere, where to you keep your camera? Attached to your chest or head? Or something completely else?
Great finds
Just became a subscriber. Great videos!!!
So, did you or did you not, get over to the New Deep Hole or will that Video be Titled "Honey #2" and potentially with a sequel...
It's AMAZING just How JADED you are around soooooooooo much NEAT & TANGIBLE History...!!!
Interesting stuff Beau!
How do you manage the underwater mask and the mustache? I had to shave mine for a recent snorkeling trip in Belize because water kept sipping in.
awsome as always!!!! what was the water temp??? i was cold watching
hey awesome finds with the bullets. Hey what equipment do you need for water hunting and how can you tell if the water has old stuff in it?
You should do a giveaway of some of the fishing stuff you've found!
Good video as usual!!
A Beaver Turd that's funny
Try dredging in glacier fed creeks in fairbanks alaska in the spring..unlike you sir..youll know gloves are worth every penny of the few bucks they cost to stsy warm..great videos..
The old hunny hole! Asume fan im getting one..
What do you do with your iron finds?...sell them to salvage metals or mix them in concrete? ..and all your lead?
***** ok, and then what happens when your scrap pile at the house gets huge...what then?
Great video!
You just can't leave that place alone can you? LOL Shame you don't have a way to vacuum out those crevasses, I can't help but feel you may be leaving some good stuff for me. Ha Ha !
It's a good lesson to all who think that everything is hunted out.
Hey love your videos when can we expect a new one
great video!!!
at my local creek behind my neighborhood I found a knife I did some research it was a kabar ww2 knife it was my best find I have ever found.
