    I used this tip yesterday and it actually allowed me to move quicker and sink a handful of 8-14 foot putts. It gave me a lot of confidence. Thanks for the advice.

    I already try and find the straight line but the tee behind the hole is an interesting idea. I’ll try tomorrow 👍

    Thank you so much for this video. I started walking around the hole like you explained to find the fall line and it made me finally understand where to aim to get it to the fall line. After 5 years of playing golf I don't feel like it's just a guess where the ball is going to go. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    Hi John- I like this idea of finding the fall line. It works !
    On a related theme- I've stopped using a line on the ball to aim. I find it interferes with the aiming process because I tend to fall in love with the ball line too quickly and I'm better off letting my brain select the correct aim line. (with help from the fall line concept)

    Yet to try this, but it sounds great for a quick and simple method. However, it occurs that if the hill is steeper, then logically the tee should be more than 6” behind the hole to compensate. Have you any comment on the sensitivity of the distance to the incline of the slope?
    Btw, have watched many of your vids but this is my first ever comment. Thanks and love your work

    • @misteroneputt
      @misteroneputt  5 месяцев назад +2

      @@martinbriggs8812 you are correct on the logic part of that. I have tested it with multiple different slopes and the 6 inches seems to be a good rule of thumb although certainly I would adjust if it was more steep uphill. My real intention here is to give a basic fast, easy green reading method that is fairly accurate and also help people get the concept that you can know which way any putt
      breaks if you start by finding the straight uphill putt

    I have been using this method for a few years and can attest that this works as advertised. I also use this method before the round…. Can I find the straight uphill putt? Can I line my ‘ball line’ up to the hole? Can I putt it straight into the hole? Helps with 3 important green skills before every round

    • @misteroneputt
      @misteroneputt  4 месяца назад

      @@terrypeeples1942 Hi Terry. Yes Lie angle is the angle that the shaft enters the putter. It varies based on how far you stand from the ball and etc. rotational angle is based on where you position your hands and the ball in your stance. Honu and all putter makers have a standard model. These questions are for if you want the putter fitted to you. If you email me john@mr1putt.com I’ll help you get the exact specs you need. No charge
