My manual 2014 mustang gt has hard shifts every morning until its been driven 10 to 15 minutes then it feels normal, but i was given a 2nd party warranty for life time from the dealership when car was purchased on engine and trans for as long as i still own the mustang. There diagnoses from dealership was a bad slave cylinder, and they said my brake fluid was really dirty btw, but for some reason there saying its not considered as a claim for my transmission lifetime warranty that its more of a normal wear a tear part. Anyone have any imput on this situation

We do not have a video explaining that procedure. I'm sure one day we'll get to it. Thanks. -Landan

What happens if you don’t bench bleed the new cylinder before install?

It just takes longer to pedal bleed it. -Landan

My clutch is taking forever to get good pressure on the pedal does it still have air in the system or is my pressure plate weak

@@ODANGELO The pressure plate won't have anything to do with the bleeding process. If the pedal is not firm, then air is still in the system. I've had a few of these cars take a long time before the system was fully bled. All I can say is keep pumping. -Landan

Yeah the bleeding procedure I'm having trouble with I've always known how to do this but this particular slave cylinder I got which is brand new I pushed it in bubbles came out when I slowly released it it did not suck any fluid.. It acts as if whatever sleeve or seal inside of it is stuck in the down position because I can take an air blower and ever so slightly hit it with air and you can feel whatever it is on the inside pop back to the top and once again put it back in fluid depress the bearing and it will blow bubbles out but will not pull any fluid back up into the cylinder.. Is it bad even though it's friends thinking new... I know the factory one you can depress the bearing all the way down put your finger over the line and let go and it'll hold until you pull your finger off the line and that's with just air inside of it... I'm at a loss with this new slave cylinder I swear the garbage they make today or is it a design to wear whatever seal inside of it supposed to be pushed all the way down so it's self bleeds when you put it back together???

It could be a defective part. Tough to judge since I can't personally inspect it. Where did you get the slave cylinder? If you purchased it from us, reach out and we'll take care of you. If not, contact the retailer/store that you purchased it from. -Landan
