I only keeped the bike for six months, and the battery was still 100%. I just decided to go back to a manual bike and keep my Brompton.

It was very nice to see your ride, but very little bike review, I would like to know, how many gears, how the varies speed options work, what is turbo, breaking, uphill assist, starting from a standstill at a junction ( how easy to get moving, etc). how long to charge the battery, how many miles on various assistances.

      Good points Bill.

I have been looking for a video of this bike being reviewed on RUclips for a while and finally someone did it haha, can I ask how much you payed for the bike from Halfords? I seen it at 2000 a month ago and just checked now its gone down to 1650

Hi, the bike was £2225 when it first came out then it got reduced to £2000 I didn't give it much attention until l discovered it has air suspension and deore clutch gearing. Also a bosch cx motor and battery. Then the price dropped to £1649 So l went to Halfords and acquired their ex display and the gave me 20 percent off. So very good for the money. I just find it a bit heavy but most e bike are.
      Thanks Tony.

What a lovely place to ride a bike.
Good review on a very good bike.
I have a Bizango ebike myself. There is a few things I don't like on it but on the whole it's a very good bike.
I think the motor sounds a bit loud compared to my last ebike and the brakes are not the best.
The frame is lovely and the over all feel of the bike is good.
I wish you could get an owner's manual on it but as far as I know you can't.
Great review by a very decent guy.

Thanks - l do agree the brakes are not as good as on my non electric full suspension bike. I do have a few dislikes myself. My big one is l got a 21 inch frame and although I'm over 6 foot tall, l find it too big for me and would have liked a smaller one. The other gripe is the weight. I'm sure they could have put a smaller motor in the bike. I only use eco mode and a lighter motor with only the one mode would have been good and would took more weight off the bike.
      Best wishes Tony.

It is a very good bike.
I also have the 21" frame, I'm 6ft 5 and I thought it would be ok. However it is a bit big for me too. I haven't used it that much to be honest as I still prefer my manual bike. Its strange for me to ride a mountain bike with such large wheels.
I had a Carrera Vulcan ebike before this one, the Bizango is far better quality and the paint work on the frame is very nice.
I do wish it came with some sort of manual though, I did find some useful information about the motor and battery from the Bosch website.
Enjoy riding your bike Tony and have a good day.
      Graham

      @@laverick12 Hi Graham,
I've just uploaded a wee video on the subject of hight and weight comparison to a manual bike.
      Cheers Tony.

@@keep-going Cheers Tony, I will look at that later.
One thing I noticed on my Bizango that I thought I would mention. After my 1st ride whilst putting the bike away I noticed a minor issue. The cable coming from the frame to the sensor on the rear wheel was touching the tyre. All it took was a small cable tie to move it out of the way.
Maybe worth checking on yours or it might have just been an issue with mine.
      Have a good day.
      Graham
