hi, I'm just curious what type of memory card did you get
I bought a similar (possibly the same) camera from Amazon here in the UK, under the brand name of CamKing, for £43, and I'm quite happy with it.
OK, so it's not studio quality, but for what I use it for (holiday videos, parties, etc.), it's more than adequate.
Please. Can you name me the best camera only for good selfies and photos and tell me the price. Phone selfies are ugly.

I bought this camera and mine is great! Except for the microphone. Mine has a busted microphone. I'm surprised on how good my camera's quality is. To everyone who buys this camera, set the brightness to cloudy.

When I’m recording then I stop to play back I can’t here my voice do you know why
I know in this cameras in their device it does not works any sound but when you will transfer the video through usb cable into mobile or in laptop or pc it will create sound
1) you probably still have the blue protective film over the screen
2) it was bleeping away telling you the battery was empty, hence the screen went weird. Try reading the manual first

buy an old optical one if you can find one get a new battery for it. save your money.

I just got a camcorder similar to this-an Omni 2 HD digital camcorder-it doesn’t have the sharpest picture in the world-but enough for my standards of filming things-I just hope it doesn’t glitch up like this one did in this video. I thought it was the end of that one.

Now that people use smartphones to shoot their home movies, you can find good camcorders (Canon, Sony, Panasonic) on the second-hand market for ridiculous prices . Recently I bought for a project two Canon Legria (Vixia), very little used, for 50 and 60 euros.
Would you recommend this camcorder? I’m a musician, and am looking into buying a camcorder that’s a budget camera I can use instead of filming on my smartphone. Feedback is much appreciated.
Hell NO!! You're far better off paying more for a 4K or HD Sony, Canon or Panasonic. Preferably one with a mic jack.
How did you get it to record? I put an SD card in it and hit record and it won't record. It says storage media on the LCD screen when I try to record and it doesn't record. Any suggestions?

I just bought the one with the external mic for my guitar videos so I can plug my Zoom H1 into it. I have seen a lot of good and bad reports on this camera. I took a chance that I'll get a good one. seem like they have bad quality control. I'm suppose to get it tomorrow. I'll let you know how it comes out.
Save your money. The touch screen didn't even work so I sent it back. I saved my money and bought the Canon Vixia HF R800. It works great for the money. What I really like about it is I can plug my mixer into the H-1 and then into the camera and get a really good sound. The picture is nice and sharp also but you need some good lighting in doors, Save your money and get the canon.
Yeah, I also got one but only paid alittle over $30.00 but can't get it to allow me to change the settings or date or record, etc....waste of time and money in my opinion. And I got the night vision version as well.

Now, on to find a reviewer that doesn't compare it to a $200.00 + camera. I have one by the Floureon brand name (same camera). After doing some adjustments such as changing to 60 hz, any flicker went away. Sure it's not a $200 to $300 camera but it does work well enough. If you make your living using a camera, why would you buy a cheap one in the first place?

And in Feb 2020 they're still selling "upgraded" versions of these. The upgrades being a crap external microphone, a cheap lens hood, and a 4K logo on the back of the flip out screen. Otherwise it's the same poor quality electronics, picture/sound quality, and not a genuine HD image. (with a lump of metal glued inside to make it seem heavier and better quality.) And an increased price. (Got to pay for those anti corona virus facemasks somehow.)

I got it for Christmas because my parents thought it was good quality even though it was 54$, they literally were okay with buying an 120$ camera, but decided to cheap out and get this one, and it doesn't even come with an SD card
in the desc. i saw the price and im like, "omg im only a dollar short!!" then i look at amazon and it says "sorry, this product is currently unavailable. we dont know when it will be back in stock."
at the sight of that i was so upset because i actualy found the camcorder i needed!!!! '^'

I got a very similar camera off Amazon, and it was not at all what I expected... the fact it had so many 5 star reviews was deceiving too... I noticed mine also had some pretty ridiculous file sizes which made them unplayable on my network server, would have to transfer the file direct to my computer before it would play. All this for poor quality video, lol. Thanks for you review, wish I saw it before I bought mine. Mine also came with a shotgun mic, and lets just say my iphone 5S takes better video, and audio than this thing. A good case of buyer beware, and to not cheap out on a cheap Chinese camera, assuming you want decent quality. Again great review!!
Too bad that OBS was not used for the trial. It would have made a decent webcam probably for a webcast (podcasts are audio only)
When I bought this on Amazon, I remember the page had lots of 5 star reviews for it. But now a lot of them seem to have disappeared. Now the score has gone down to 3 stars. Weird. I suspect perhaps the people who made this camera hired a whole load of people to give it fake "positive reviews" on its release date to convince other people to buy it. Unfortunately, I was fooled. Worst camcorder I ever bought.
