@RoyalMasterpiece it has nothing to do with wokeness (and you should probably look up the definition of that). Spanglish is would be like "slapear", as in "quisiera slapearte". Going back and forth between the languages is code switching. You should have stayed in school.

@@LindaC616 Hi girly, its actually called translanguaging!Translanguaging refers to the blending of multiple languages and using it at one time. There are a various iterations of it (i.e. Spanglish, Kichidi, Franglais) so saying its just “Spanglish” generalizes and erases other cultures.
Code-switching refers to a boundary between 2 languages. In code-switching, you essentially bounce your use from one language to the other keeping them separate.

I'm latinamerican and the fact that Beethoven is one of the most popular movie franchises over here just make this sketch 1000% better. Everyone in here would kill for a vip party with the original dog from Beethoven.

It's a practice conducted so as to not damage any future growth or opportunities for any intern in case they do a perceivably bad job as an intern. Their names are published along with their work only after they become a standard or permanent employee.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting children to have as much normalcy as possible and not leaving them while both parents are never around and away on location filming movies. Nothing wrong with having Nannies, as most people I know do, but also nothing wrong with her wanting to retreat from Hollywood. She and Ryan seem to have a lovely marriage and so support each other, always very sad to see the hate thrown her way for no reason.

That was odd though considering even though Ryan didn't win an Oscar, it was definitely his night with the outstanding "I'm Just Ken" performance. Pauletta Washington and Rita Hanks for example, are always by their husbands at awards shows and red carpet events even though they are both actresses themselves to a lesser degree. Ryan deliberately took his sister to the big day instead.

It’s a job and I imagine it could be really annoying at times. Eva and Ryan are quoted as hating the fakiness of Hollywood. They want their kids to grow up somewhat normal.
I was hoping to see her as well. But I'm certain they have, as a couple, decided how to deal with public appearances and their relationship. Not my circus. Not my monkey. As long as they are happy, I'm ecstatic for them.

I’ve watched a few skits from this SNL episode so far and I must say it’s an absolute knockout. They hit it out of the ballpark. And Gosling is incredibly funny and just comedy natural.
