Ryan Gosling in SNL for me is one of the bests participation. He is just too serious to be in comedy and that's why it makes it so good, he can't even hold himself not to crack.

I think it's the way that she kinda pops up into the frame, delivers the line all "sexy", then sinks out of view again that makes it so funny. There's monitors off camera that the actors can see, so that might be why Ryan almost lost it at that point. No need to over analyze it, just funny. Enough said.

This is like deja vu I literally actually had a friend like this with who came to my 6th grade birthday party and followed my dad around all night calling him “Howie” instead of Howard and always made sure she was sitting next to him every time he was in the room. Even snuggled his arm once. And my dad is fat and bald and not Ryan gosling.
Deja vu for me too in a way. I had a crush on an attractive older gentleman. I was a grown woman though, and he wasn’t my friend’s father. He was a guy who did handyman work in my house. And the feelings were mutual even though he had a wife. If this fellow had worked SHIRTLESS, I would have totes freaking lost it!

At 2:53, the way she says "It's a single pair of gray men's underwear", I always thought she broke the phrase wrongly (because it sounds like "graymen's underwear", rather than "gray men's-underwear". Well… it's for Ryan Gosling, and now it's 2022, it makes perfect sense!

Breaking character is funny, but Ryan Gosling breaking character is a whole another level of funny. Whenever he's on I just watch to see him break character, it's always the funnest thing in whatever sketch he's on!
Aidy is one of those SNL cast members who’s severely overlooked and underrated. Just like Cheri Oteri. She’s like the female Chris Farley, and that is a major compliment, not a dig.
