Thank you for putting out these videos, it brings back a lot of great memories. We took many of the same trips, however we did not have dash cameras in those days just video recorders, I hope to return on many more trips like this once Covid -19 is over, A suggestion: Highway # 93 The ICEFIELD HIGHWAY from Jasper to Banff via the Columbia Icefields. That is also a great drive with outstanding views.
No if you are a Canadian you're still a Canadian . I was just pointing out that I've never heard a Canadian calling that amazing range the Canadian Rockies . Sort of like it sounds dumb to say Calgary Canada . If you want to sound Canuck , You'd say going to the Rockies in Alberta and then BC . Probably stay in Calgary for a night. Or just going to the Rockies .
@@jackfishcampbell6745 You seem to forget that not everyone that watches the video is familiar with Canada. The reason why someone would say Calgary Canada, not everyone knows where Rocky Mountains, as you probably know, the Rocky Mountains cover two different countries.

I find it unusual to say the least to chat with people 200 or 300 kilometers south who don't know much of anything about this amazing land and water mass called Canada .
If you wanted to get out of the town quicker (and who dosen"t) rhen you shouldn't have taken that right turn on Lynx Street to Wolf Street. You should have satayed on Lynx. It would have taken you directly to the highway

We did this exact drive last August and stayed at Fairmont lake Louise then drove back to Banff and stayed there as well. Absolutely beautiful.

I'm planning on driving up Highway 93 this summer, time permitting.
Yes, we drove from Calgary to Jasper and then worked our way back to Banff! Just stunning!

The way to Lake Louise on the Bow Valley Parkway is much nicer! But the Road is closed! How long? Greetings from Germany!
I would love to drive the Bow Valley Parkway. I'm not sure about the exact reason why the Parkway is closed for vehicle traffic.
