Lancelot got best from his parents, Reading mind of the fairy clan and strong body from his father (after his journey from hell).

You guys saw lancelot in Grudge of Edinburgh. He had a different hairstyle at the time. But that was definitely him. He is human fairy hybrid that can read minds and hearts, and is a shape shifter. Which are common abilities of the fairy race. In another words, we don't know what his actual magical power is. But judging from Shining Road, it's some type of energy/arua base power like Ban's purple arua whenever he steals physical strength from others, or uses his Vanishing Kill attack. But it's probably mixed with Elaine's golden aura.
I don’t think they watched GoE, so they wouldn’t recognise him
Plus it’s been a few years since season 4 came out (and since they never animated the oneshot he was only shown in person in GoE in the anime) and they watch loads of other series, so I don’t blame them for not immediately recognising his name

Lancelot is the son of ban and elaine
Lancelot's name was said in the last 7ds episodes, he is ban's kid. He's 16 like them and he got human and fairy blood, a mix of both. He can transform like fairies can, he can fly like they can and read minds like they can, but he dont got nature manipulation since he is not a pureblood fairy and its unknown if he is able to sprout wings to become even stronger like what happened to king

@azrael_morningstar Lancelot's name was mentioned. Ban declared he'd name his son Lancelot in the final episode. So it's still reasonable they don't remember. I just find it funny that they only remember one of the children from the last episode.
