- In this video of NO FILTER NO CO2 NO FERTS Walstad method aquarium we continue to follow the adventures of Milky the Betta fish. Aquarium and Betta are 1000 days old and it is finally time to pull a plug on this aquarium. I will be moving Milky to a different aquascape if he survives long enough because he is ancient counting in Betta years.

Watched all the videos about this setup, Really appreciate your patience,And our milky is incredible
Love from india ❤
@@vasudevansure3375 thanks for watching. Greetings from Croatia.
I hope Milky gets to see the new setup. I've lost two Bettas this year, and it never gets easier. Thanks for the update!
Hopefully he will. I will publish the build video of his aquarium next Friday. He is doing OK. He is only active when it is feeding time and when the lights turn on. He flares for a minute doing his usual "tank patrols" and after that he goes back to sleep. He usually sleeps all day long.
We need more videos lioke this on the platform. Absolutely fantastic
Thanks for your support. Cheers

Absolutely amazing ❤.
Thanks Lorenzo.
This was beautiful story telling at a beautiful pace! great music choice as well.
This tank must have a really soft spot in your heart after so long!
To be honest if it didn't have perlweed in it I would like it much more. It was an interesting experiment and even 1000 days later plants are still growing without me ever adding ferts. And all this is achieved without a filter. Was really hoping the posters will arrive today; hopefully next week.
@@IMaquaFunnily I have tried pearl weed 3 or 4 times and it has died every single time.... I'm not sure if you have mail delivery on Saturday but last week my friend in Germany got his on Saturday of all days.
Hopefully they survive the trip!
@@IndoorEcosystem try giving it more light; 10-12 hours light duration. I had the same issues in the aquarium where I kept only 7-8 hours.
Milky ❤❤❤ I feel bad that he will lose his home. Are you going to steal this tank for breeding?
Actually this will be a spare aquarium. The aquarium is located in my living room so the plan is to replace it with a much bigger 20 gallon display aquarium that I will hopefully scape in September. I am building a new aquarium for Milky that will be located in the fish room.
I love your videos 😊 supporter from 🇵🇭
@@mksrdnl7032 thanks. Greetings from sunny Croatia.
Your floating plants ALWAYS looks so AMAZING! Hsppy Friday!
Thanks for your continuous support. Cheers Tashee
Very cool aquarium, even if the Pearl weed completely took over. You'd expect the nutrients would run out at some point, but apparently not. At least not for the Pearl weed...
Remind me to never plant Hemianthus, because L. sessiliflora, H. polysperma, and H. zosterifolia provide more than enough work already.
I really like this one but as I mentioned it takes so much maintenance and trimming. You would think it has a CO2 injection...
Haha, yes. I am keeping my CO2 fairly minimal, just enough to colour the dropchecker slighty green.
Btw, yesterday I added 9 Hockeysticks (the english speakers call them Penguin tetras) and 10 Lemon tetras to the Rio 125. I saw no use for Otocinclus or shrimp yet, because there's hardly a spot of algae to be found.
The fish from the cursed aquarium are still in quarantine; I added some medication, there are no extra deaths and they seem to be healing (I hope).
@@frankvermeulen4621 I am telling you the curse is real 😂
I do not doubt it. Especially because the Rio 125 is as near perfection as I have ever got. Now, keeping it perfect may be an entirely different story... 😅
@@frankvermeulen4621 better to rescape it while it looks perfect haha
Hi, how long the lights on each day?
In this aquarium I started with 14 hours and reduced to 12 hours a day. All my other aquariums get 8 hours a day.
@@IMaqua thanks
@@jonisin5498 you are welcome.
