- School may be out but we're going back to class with nature documentaries from the 1970s!
Sleepcore is a curated collection of videos centred around a theme, intended to replicate the experience of late night channel surfing. The content presented is dated, not boring, but slow. This is media as a sleep aid.
I do not own any of the clips presented. Credit to the copyright holders and thanks to the original uploaders.

Any old nova videos?
Chilly nights...the time for ghost stories and fantasy! Perhaps two radio play ghost stories I’ve produced AND a brand new mystery listed on my channel “Claude Chabot Presents” right here on YT AND a radio fantasy comedy, “A Trip to the Moon” starring Joyce Randolph of The Honeymooners, which features Larry Robinson, who, as a child actor, actually worked with Orson Welles. Here’s the link: ruclips.net/video/Hex2ltykNTM/видео.html--Claud. If you don’t want to click the link just search “Claude Chabot presents” on RUclips.
Can I use the footage
“Sleepcore” that’s genius....exactly what I look for in a documentary....no interviews, just lo-fi narration drone.
Please don't stop making sleepcore. It's my nighttime atmosphere all night, every night.
It’s on a brief hiatus while I workshop it a bit. I’m hoping to have something new in February. Thanks for watching!
@@picsnportraits oh i hope so
These are the type of shows I watch in a hotel room late at night
Exactly what I, and apparently a lot of others, have been looking for. Soft, gentle pretty on the ears and eyes
The stuff that put me to sleep in the 4th grade compiled into an insomnia cure... Sir, you are a genius.
The underwater documentary is so special.
We try to do this every week! If you enjoyed this, check out some of the older ones we have archived!
picsandportraits what was the name of the song at the very beginning of the video?
Pleasant Dreams by The Five Red Caps. I’ve been using it as a theme/overture. Thanks for watching!
Wow, I've been looking for 'Sleepcore' for a long time without knowing what it was. Brilliant Idea! More nature documentaries from the 70's and 80's please.
If you haven’t already, check out the Grindhouse Science episode. It’s similar to this one. Thanks for watching!
Now this is my kind of channel right here. Much appreciation.
Thanks for watching!
I have terrible insomnia and anxiety which keeps me up for days but documentaries like this helps! Thank you for uploading!!!

Stoked on finding a good depiction of my brain and the way it views life ~ 🤙
Another great upload! With this one, I watched for a bit, then drifted off to sleep for a bit. I think the fact that the soundtrack on the old jellyfish doc sounded like a warped album helped! Thanks!
The soundtracks on these old nature films sound like they were composed by a madman.
There we these cool nature docs shown late at night, 1999 on a Milwaukee station. They were produced in Italy but the cool thing about them was that the music was very experimental electronic music. I can’t seem to find them anywhere. I used to sample them for my music back in the day.
you got some examples for good sampels? :)
please upload more from 80s and 90s those are simple and to the point documentaries.
Fantastic this is how it should be vintage docs
