Truma, well know in RV industry for heat and hot water systems, introduced their Aventa line of RV air conditioning systems.
See and here the Truma Aventa A/C in operation. Then, here the Coleman Mach 3 NDQ operate in my Winnebago Travato 59GL to hear the difference.
❤️ Truma Aventa A/C because:
Very quiet
Slim design inside and outside
Vibrations nearly eliminated
Many modes of operation
Sips electricity using 110 volt
Innovation in the RV systems industry
😡 Trumaker Aventa A/C because:
Likely not to be seen on a Travato 59G/GL floor plan as the unit is too wide for current floor plan design
Cannot be swapped out for old A/C in most cases
Is not available to the DIY consumer

Wow, thanks for the helpful comparison. Favor to ask...does the Truma Aventa blower fan inside run continuously when it is powered on? Or, does the blower fan cycle on and off with the compressor?
My guess is there are two modes fan on with or without compressor on or auto mode where fan turns off after compressor stops
@@gosmall.livelarge thank you! On the Coleman AC that's in your RV, does the fan always run 100% of time when powered on, or does fan cycle on and off with the compressor? It seems like a lot of the units without separate ducting rely on a temperature sensor in the intake or return plenum, thus why they make the fan run continuously to get an accurate temperature reading. Curious if it's that way on yours. Thanks for your time.
Wow I like that. Truma is really coming in strong to the Rv business. A Truma AC and tankless water heater would be a nice combo. Like that lithium package too. 👍🏼
But you as a consumer can’t buy one. 😢
Right on
Wow Scott, you made to the Truma website! Great video, congrats!!
Thx 90
Hey Scott! I hate to sound like your mom but, "Close the door! THE A/C IS ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL
LOL
Scott,
👏 👏 You scored MAJOR kudos points for providing an actual ‘real world’ demonstration of an AC unit! (such a rarity on YT)
Perceived noise vs efficiency greatly impacts ‘quality of life’ in close quarters, and is a factor influencing a purchase.
If possible, please include this HVAC test demo in every walk thru.
I realize it was hot that day …but a test of the heater mode would have been ‘off the chart’ awesomeness! 😃
Hopefully, your HVAC demo example …will set a new standard for RV walk thrus.
Great job! 👍
Glad you enjoyed the video !
Nice comparison video. Love my 12v ACbut haven’t had to use it much once back in WI. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Hi Cheri
I like this RV allot. Great BR. Thank you Scott. Hi Tux!!
Howdy
Thanks Scott. We have Coleman Mach. It's a bit noisy, but gets the job done!
Excellent !
Does the Mach and/or Truma fan run constantly? Even when temp is achieved and compressor shuts off? Also is the Truma ducted in that unit? Thanks man
Various settings on both units.
What a game changer. Thanks for the video
YW Dave
Regarding your comment about Winnebago to come up with legless tables, they already have it, Lagun tables,! They just need to implement it more . For example, Solis 59px, all they have to do is replace it with a lagun table, which for some reason they are not??? BTW, thank you for the video, very informative!
Howdy
This WGO has the same layout as our Lance 1985 TT, cool. We enjoy seeing the state of the art advancing incrementally as we go since we have been full-timing since 2008. We have had two travel trailers, two fifth-wheels, and a truck camper since our humble beginnings. It is time for a motorhome, but instead of a big Class A we are really interested in the Solis at this time provided we get our act together with those home bases in winter and summer. Our son's HOA in W. Dundee, IL will allow a Class B to park there for a few weeks provided it isn't violating the No street parking November to April snowplow ordinance. This is something the Class A's & C's & TTs can't do. We wouldn't camp in it while visiting our son as we have a private bedroom in his basement, but on out-of-pocket days when not mooch docking, we could take the Class B with us to visit my old stomping grounds in NW IL. The 1 bedroom 1 bathroom park model in south-central CO we toured is $55K plus seasonal rent, but our summer employer would pay that rent and that small park model has more office and play space that any RV we have owned. That makes the Solis more viable for getaways on our time off and although it can't tow a jeep at least we can rent one in nearly every major town in the mountains of CO, LOL.
Thx for sharing Knapp’s Nest !
Hi Scott.... would love that A/C in my 22GL- too bad it is wide on the inside... would be great to have the heat and cooling - dehumidier integrated. take a look at the new NORCOLD refrig/freezer that are putting in the G/GL for 2023
Hi Steve
Hi Scott! I knew you would not get rid of your van! 😊👍
You got it Shirley
Good job.👍
Thank you
Nice video Scott!
Thx for watching and commenting
I would want to know how many watts it uses on the various fan speeds or modes.
Agree. Didn’t see that online nor in the available info
Nice. Quite is good.
Quiet is very good !
What are inside dimensions of trims aventa A/c
Yikes. Not sure. Maybe on their website ?
John Wayne would be proud to be cooled down by that TRUMA...
LOL 🤠
If my ever dies I will get one of these
Hi Mary
I would be curious how quiet their ducted system will be when it hits the 5th wheel and motorhome market.
right!?
But I can’t buy one Scott???????? So who cares!!!!!!! Tell Truma to sell direct to consumer !!!!!!
Hi Robyn. Just sharing what is out there. Thanks for putting up with it
I think it is same with their hot water heater. If you want one just have to have dealer install.
the background noise is even covering your voice can't hear anything
W H A T ? ? 👂 LOL.
That is CRAZY loud. Pass!
Ok 1
