Hi Simon, Just a quick question: When the AC unit is running at night, in night mode, is there an option to turn off the flashing blue light as the compressor kicks in and out.

So you never really explained much. What does the heating mode operate on A/C. D/C ?What does the complete unit operate on ? Does it have a heating element in it ? Does it have a soft start? Does the unit shut off when it’s reached its temperature in both the heat and cool modes? Or does it stay running? You posted a pop up at the beginning but if you can read that fast. Good luck. Try explaining this all over again. Thanks

I like the questions you asked the guy and I just asked Google bard artificial intelligency this reply I got:
The Truma Aventa air conditioning operates on **both AC and DC**, depending on the mode:
      * **Cooling mode:** In cooling mode, the unit operates on **AC power (230V AC, 50 Hz)**. The compressor, condenser, and evaporator all require alternating current to function.
      * **Heating mode:** The integrated heat pump utilizes **DC power** for the internal fan and control board. However, the compressor still runs on **AC power** in this mode.
      **Complete unit operation:**
      * The entire unit, including both indoor and outdoor components, requires **AC power for basic operation** in both cooling and heating modes.
      * The **DC power** comes into play for specific functions like the control board, fan speed adjustments, and the remote control.
      **Soft start:**
      * **Yes, the Truma Aventa has a soft start feature.** This helps to mitigate the high initial current surge that can occur when the compressor kicks in, protecting your electrical system from overload.
      **Automatic shut-off:**
      * **Yes, the unit shuts off automatically in both cooling and heating modes when it reaches the desired temperature.** This is controlled by an internal thermostat.
      * Once the temperature deviates slightly from the set point, the unit will automatically turn back on to maintain the desired climate.
      **Additional notes:**
      * The power consumption of the unit varies depending on the mode and fan speed. You can find detailed information about power consumption in the Truma Aventa manual or on the official product page.
      * While the unit itself does have a soft start feature, it's recommended to consult your caravan or motorhome's manual to ensure compatibility and proper installation for optimal performance and safety.
