Adam, one more thing... u r saying in the video that reviews doesn’t scare u at all... but it’s a big obstacle... we need social proof to get start. But if u going in a product that have 300+ reviews avg, how u going to compete against?? It’s very difficult and very expensive...
Thanks! It would scare me if the entire top set of ASINs had an unattainable amount of reviews. But 300 wouldn't scare me at all. That amount shouldn't impact buyer behavior versus say your listing you could get to 100+ reviews in 4-6 months.

Like you suggest Adam, I started a brand around a group of people I know and understand through my prior professional experience. I am the target customer and I understand what they want. Building a brand like this allows me to really do almost no product research. I do any product I want that fits my brand, and I know the way I design it will cause it to be very success with my audience. I don't care how many reviews the competition has or how crowded the market is. I brainstorm my spin on the product and ask myself, would my guys like this? If it's a yes, I know I'll be at the top, regardless of the competition. If the product is a winner in my eyes, I just make sure ROI and margins are solid. 4000 reviews? I couldn't care less because I know my design will resonate with my audience and I will scoop up big sales. Now I kinda just consider myself an aesthetic designer of this product category. My designs hit really hard with a certain segment. I look at 3 products currently in production and I just think "man, this is the most badass one of these available out of any big name brand." I would buy this stuff, so that means all the dudes know will buy it too. So far its been unbelievable progress. I've been at this less than a year and doing 270k a month, with several products in development now. May not work for everyone, but I say skip trying to do random products that software tells you. Build a brand and stay consistent. We're at 20k followers on IG in 9 months, while being suppressed due to the nature of our content being firearms and combat related much of the time, and sold 22,000 units. Started 9 months ago and were out of inventory for 3-4 months because I'm new at this at had a cash flow problem on my big earner. Its all worked out now and we're off to the races. Goal is 7 million next year
100%. F'in love this. This is precisely why brands like Savior kill it. No china knock-off or name brand retailer an compete. The rules are changing and brand builders like you are going to take a lot of the chips. When you're ready to sell or take some money of the table, let me know. This is precisely the type of businesses I'm buying over the next 12-24 months.

Great stuff. Do you ever get put off of a product if there are too many factories offering it? Feels like an indiction that it could be becoming a saturated market soon. We quite like products that are tricky to find suppliers for, maybe only a couple of factories, that way competition stays low and you can dominate easier.

Great stuff. Do you ever get put off of a product if there are too many factories offering it? Feels like an indiction that it could be becoming a saturated market soon. We quite like products that are tricky to find suppliers for, maybe only a couple of factories, that way competition stays low and you can dominate easier.
If it's the same product, yes, I would. If there is an angle to differentiate and secure exclusivity, I don't mind lots of 'similar' offers.
