Insanely helpful stuff here man! I've spent weeks looking at revenue pages trying to figure out why some products are way more successful than others, not really having a solid idea on what my numbers would look like if I entered that niche (which has many times led to me moving to the next idea because of that uncertainty). I knew it was probably because they were, "better at amazon", but never really knew how to get better other than listing image, product differentiation, etc. This is the video that I have been needing. the score number. the bigger the better? the max score is equal to the number of ASINS you put in , in the case that they're all ranking. Did I get that right?
What a complement, thanks! The bigger the score just means the more relevant that keyword is for the product/category. Generally you want to rank for these as they are driving sales for a number of relevant competitors and can send big signals to amazon on what your product is. There are some great, undertargeted words with scores of 3-5 as well - so they are important - but the high scores are typically the most relevant. Hope that makes sense.

Not sure I completely follow the question. We use these words with the goal of ranking on them organically near the top of page one, and they ultimately generate recurring and predictable sales over time the more we rank for. Good to have you here.

Adam, thanks for sharing! Following your approach I asked myself what I should do with keywords that have high competition / a huge mass of competing products?
Two ways to think about it:
1) Red flag not to pursue the product or participate in those competitive markets;
2) If you have a compelling offer and differentiation against those other ASINs, you may look at them as being disruptable.
