Dear ANNIE! Thank you for opening these and showing everyone so beautifully. I’m blown away by all the delightful little things you make with our treasured fabrics - thank you for showing us them here in this video - they are so beautiful - and so comfortingly familiar to me in all our fabrics! I’m feeling inspired! It’s so good to mop up some of the waste in small and delightful ways, one drop in the ocean at a time. There are so many things I could tell you about the fabrics, and their histories. As I watch you I have those stories and images of India ringing in my brain - where they came from - who designed the print, who carved the block, who sold me the meters, loaded the bundles, who measured the yards, who cut it wrong, who put the button holes in the wrong place, who slammed it on the van door or knocked it into the mud at an outdoor show back in the U.K.!?! Happy making!
Love from Jo and all of us here at Bazaar HQ x

Hi Annie...I sent Jo and her wonderful team the card. I watch you all the time but am a little poorly so I stay in the background. I ordered a scrap pack through you and your videos and kindly asked for a little extra treat. The package that was sent to me was just stunning and so beautifully put together ( and my heritage is Indian) I wanted to thank Jo and her team for the wonderful work they do in India and how they must touch & change peoples lives over there. The quote is my favourite and its by Maya Angelou- I always include it wherever I can as the words feel sacred and precious to me and I want to share it with everyone who touches me with their kindness. Thank you so much for all that you do for this community and how kind of Jo to share my words with you- so unexpected but lovely. Sweet Blessings Mand XOXO

HI Mand - thank you so much for the lovely comment and how sweet of you to send that card to Jo and the team, I know it must have made their day/week/month :) I love that quote, I think I might stitch it into a piece very soon, so that I don't forget it. Maybe a whole fabric book full of quote would be an interesting project for the future ... hmmm ... sending love and light xo

Thank you Annie for your video and sharing these beautiful scrap packs with us. What a lovely surprise and so generous. The packs are full of the most glorious colours of relevant fabric. There is not one piece I could see that could not be used, not often the case with other companies.

Just lovely, such a shame they don't deliver beyond the UK.
Edit..note to self, watch the entire video before commenting! 🤣 I'll be placing an order, postage costs dependent, because I'm so inspired to add some fabric to my art journal 💜

I'm sad that they don't deliver to my area, but now I know that I can Google "scrap pack" and find other options. Lovely video, thank you for sharing ❤

They will deliever anywhere Julie - you might have missed the bit of the video where I mentioned it, but if you're outside the uk you need to just email them saying what you would like, they will then quote you for shipping cost, if you go ahead they'll invoice you and arrange payment. This is also outlined in the description of the scrap packs on their website I believe, where you can also very easily find the email.
Having said that, of course it always makes sense to buy your supplies nearer to home if possible, so it's well worth googling "scrap pack", "scrap fabrics" etc to see what you can find, you could even approach local manufacturers of clothing and other textiles and ask them if they have unwanted scraps, you might get lucky. Of course chairty shops/thrift stores/op shops are also a good source. Happy hunting :)

@@artyfartyannie Thanks for the info! I decided to go to the "Goodwill by the pound" yesterday (where everything goes when it doesn't sell in the regular thrift stores) after work and I filled up a big Costco tote bag with all kinds of lovely scraps - well, they were clothes but I was looking at them as scraps. I even got a hand-knitted blanket with wood violets cross-stitched into the knitting. It's so pretty and what a great idea! I washed everything with Borax added to make sure that it was all really clean after the adventures that they all undoubtably have been on before they came to me and now I can make them into all kinds of useful things (except for the blanket, that is living on the couch now where Grace (my cat) and I can snuggle under it.) Thank you again for the inspiration! ❤
