It has taken me 30 years to finally find you my friend, though we have never met. Your way of playing is so expressive and unique and free. you bring out the poetry of the instrument and are helping us all to break the often times rigid confines of the classical guitar. Thank you so much as my whole attitude towards phrasing is transformed.
just sittin' around the kitchen communing with the angels.... He hears and expresses a beauty in these works that I have not heard from many other players
El ataque sutil de Aniello Desiderio es como pocos, creo que es único, cada mano es un mundo. Es muy potente y sutil a la vez. Su sonata de Scarrlatti k1 es historia.
segovia plays it without those annoying 'modern' caresses, rubato, going deaf and loud etc... why not play it stright across like segovia? it's much clearer what he does, and is more masculine than this soft approach
I too would wish for better adherence to a rhythm! But this is Classical Guitar playing a modern composition.... Guitarists often need to break the rhythm they had set. Squeaks from the bass strings, and sudden off rhythm pauses are just the disadvantages intrinsic to a fretted instrument that plays complex harmonies. Guitarists are so used to that, their ears don't perceive the unusual aberrations. But, the instrument is easily portable, unlike the concert harp, O'Conner pianoforte...
@johndevilbiss6607 your entire text makes barely any sense. what is your point regarding what i said? breakibg rhytm in accents is ok rarely, but doing it continuously on and off shows lack of control.

Aniello is playing a special Hanson N3 double top model made to his preferred specifications - 660 mm scale length and 54 mm nut width
Great!!! I wonder if you can make a model with 664mm but 10 string Yepes, Like the one I use in my videos. Thank you!!!
Beautifully played !!! Good to see the score on his pad in large format, it's a good idea. ✌❤
