You are pretty much spot on. It's been a long time but iirc they have said it is about toxic relationships, whether they be verbal, physical or whatever. But however bad, they still have a love for each other and so keep coming back for more. (disclaimer : not an exact quote😀)
Such an awesome video (as per usual). One of the coolest things about this video is that it was shot and edited to look like one long take, with no obvious edits. Extremely well done. There is a short BTS video too. I've not read anything official on the meaning, but my own interpretation is that it's a metaphor for a very toxic relationship, and no matter how bad things get (even abuse), there is forgiveness, and the cycle continues. For another great Kalandra music video, "Are You Ready?" is where it's at!
Yep. I love the video. It has Tarkovskij vibes. The moment she jumps and Katrine inhales gives me chills everytime. It is a little psychedelic, I love it.
This song is the opening on their conserts. Set's the mood and atmosphere perfectly. Love this band intensly❤ Check out Not some Fairytale. Another fantastic song and video.
Kalandra is just amazing! If you liked this video, I highly recommend you check out Chris Kläfford and his song "Cold at the altar". Also an amazing one take video and an amazing artist. You will love him. Be safe
check out the faroese-danish band brimheim and their music video for poison fizzing on a tongue. the music video is directed by heiðrik á heygum who also shot the video for eivørs í tokuni. he is not only a director, but also graphic designer and musician. flowers on your grave music video is my favourite song by him. his style is absolut unique!
