In my opinion, Beach House are the best band in existence today. They consistently produce outstanding music, full of emotion and soul.

I’m seeing them this July in Richmond, VA. I’m from Baltimore so I’ve seen them a number of times. Last time was at Bonnaroo in 2019.
March 23rd in Atlanta 9pm is a time I’ll never forget in my life! Getting ready for July 24th in DC :)

Once Twice Melody is such a gorgeous mix and progression of all their previous albums and styles. So versatile, so nostalgic yet so fresh. Already the album of the year in my eyes.
They simply refuse to fall off.

@@josephclavelli1753imo it does have the tone of bloom but the songs on that album have more vocal range and are more stripped down than the synth-drenched Superstar
Seeing them live is easily one of the most significant moments of my life
Saw them twice this year, def bucket list check right there! They tore it up in Des Moines and at MAHA fest in Omaha. It was cool seeing my hometown experience the magic of beach house

One of my favorite voices. So beautiful and hypnotic. I just want to take a long drive on a deserted highway and binge all their music.
And those two voices together, just creates this third sound.
And Beach House is a must for any long drive- especially at night.

Beach House is AWESOME! One of my favorites. For those of you that haven't heard of them before, all their albums are great, but I would recommend starting with Bloom and Teen Dream.
Discovered them a few weeks ago, DEFINITELY approve of this selection, both amazing amazing albums

These are probably my favorites too. I saw them at the Santa Fe Opera House with Fleet Foxes… an incredible venue and just an all around beautiful experience!

They sound so fucking good. I’ve noticed on late shows like this the sound quality for many bands isn’t too great, but they have such an attention to detail and their sound here is immaculate :0
They have it all: a distinct, original sound; beautiful, intriguing lyrics; and a superb leading voice. They're up there with classics like Echo and The Bunnymen and The Cure.
Damn, they crushed it.
This was a great choice for the band and for the show. Very impactful. Must have sounded like heaven if it sounds this good on cell speakers-
Stephen Colbert with the lite night hype
Imagine being in the audience, without having any idea of who they are. That must've been a life-changing experience for some.
I own their entire discography on vinyl and B sides & rarities.

They take you to a new galaxy. They have been doing so for me since 2005 during one of those bad days where I stumbled across the track on the East River and ran and ran that rough day of life away. On the way back to the subway, my iPod accidentally loaded them, I stayed on the F train until Coney Island when I needed to get off at Essex Street; I forgot I was in NYC. No alcohol or no drugs needed - they were it.
If you've never heard of them just listen to either space song, ppp, myth or master of none and I assure u that u won't regret it and will wonder why u haven't heard of them earlier, they have so many great songs that's just a few of them

when alex goes crazy on the guitar it made me tear up bcs i saw this live. like i, me, saw this amazing band live and performed this song which means so much to me. and that 3:37 mark where the instrumentals all come together, god it brings me such joy. i’m glad they’re getting the recognition they deserve
I’ve seen them 3 times now and I’ve cried every time. I cry watching their live performances on RUclips. I cry listening to them walking in the park.
They played Wherever You Go at the show I went to and Alex was going ham he killed it. So did Vic

Saw them play a tiny bookstore in Chapel Hill, NC. They (Alex & Victoria) were touring their first album. Just a keyboard with a drum machine programmed in and Alex on guitar. About 12-15 people showed up.
I talked to Alex about the good review from Pitchfork and (this is how long ago this was) Alex and I chatted about MySpace. 😀
Victoria was having a conversation with a few others. I regret not hanging out longer to say hi to her. Both were really nice and very approachable.
Saw them two years later, again in Chapel Hill at Local 506. You could tell that they were catching on. Over a hundred people showed up. Alex and Victoria snuck right by me, both wearing black hoodies tightly pulled over their heads. I proposed to my wife on this night and once again kicked myself for not trying to weave it into the show. Totally selfish...but...how memorable if Alex and Victoria could have played a role. Just for fun. Anyway. That's my Beach House story. Great band. Cool people.

Saw Beach House for the first time a couple months ago in Kansas City. It was the first show since COVID that the crowd seemed to really come together to see the show. Not looking at each other because we have forgotten how to be in crowds. AMAZING show. They are so talented. If you get the chance to see them live, GO!!!

sorta like when chromatics were on twin peaks doing shadow. even has the lynchian footage of a moving road
Beach House should've been in The Return.
Then again they're too nostalgic and pure, it's almost like they would've rather belonged in the original 90s series alongside Julee Cruise if that were possible.
The Return was a tad too abrasive and unforgiving for their energy methinks.
But yeah, Twin Peaks inspired Beach House and Beach House inspired the Chromatics who ended up being in Twin Peaks so the circle kind of closed in a way.
