Now I have to know how this goes cutting circles/curves. I switched to a Powermax 45 for my crossfire pro and I will have to give that a try with some inch thick steel
I truly believe you get what you pay for. The razorcut is a great plasma cutter for the price and it works great for what I do as a hobbyist fabricator. From the research I have done the hypertherm has a great product and used by many professional shops. I have no personal experience with using a Hypertherm plasma cutter but if someone wants to send me one I would love to try it out and give a review on it.
Hey, I'm trying to cut some 20 mm steel with the same setup but I'm having a really hard time with the edge starts (2 succesful cuts, ~50 attempts). Do you have any tips/tricks to get a consistent edge start?
Make sure you are using a long enough Pierce delay. Your not really giving enough information for me to help you here. Make sure your using good clean consumables. Clean dry air.
I hope I never have to cut that thick. I don't know how I would get it on the table. I don't have a forklift or a chain fall. I am just now building my table I bought a Cut60DN. If you are cutting 1 inch with a 45, hopefully I will be able to cut a thin sheet really fast with a 60.
You for sure need a forklift (at a minimum) or at the very least an A-frame crane/hoist. There's no way anyone is lifting this thick of a plate on a table by themselves!
Sure beats using a cut-off wheel!
😂
BOOM !!! Nice job !!!! Never would've thought it would cut !!
Great stuff man. That little razor sure packs a punch.
That is absolutely insane!

Thanks for sharing! Great tip on the THC off.
Very impressive! Thanks for sharing
1 inch thick? Hot dang!
Wait so is this the Razorweld 45 thats only supposed to be able to cut 1/2? You telling me i can cut way thicker if i just slow it down to a crawl?
That’s impressive!!!
You did an edge start I assume
Sorry if I missed it
I'm curious about your opinion on the Razorcut 45 vs a Hypertherm 65.
