Diandra Forrest, I thank you for always speaking out and being a great advocate. As a visual impairments specialist/teacher I had to become aware and have a special focus on my African-American students with albinsm. A couple of them just knew that they were different and did not know why. I had them research and then showed them some famous personalities of African descent with albinism. One of my best friends was born with albinism and she always volunteers to serve as a mentor to any of my students who wants to talk with her. You were one of the people in the bios for an eight-year-old who was assigned to create her own video. She was a very 'girlie-girl' into fashion and considered you to be someone to emulate. I saw her self-esteem rise quickly that school year.
She is a beautiful lady inside and out. She has an amazing accent and i can see that it is prevalent in the USA. Black people must appreciate their differences.
this African American Woman with Albinism encapsulate traditional Afro-centric beauty in so many Facets and her voice is gentle + feminine yet and still a strong black woman
We have the same problem ,but on different sides. Growing up I south Alabama I was told I was too black because my skin color is very dark,it does not matter people will always try to find something wrong with you to avoid looking at themselves
You are beautiful, with love an respect I post this...my grannie son has sickle cell so there is many things he will not be able to do I'm glad God choice for a family was our we love and support him hugs and kisses mean everythings to us...I love him and I pray you have a blessed life
Omg I wish my sister could meet her....no mater how many times I tell her she is beautiful, she has the WORSE self esteem. She acts tuff but it comes off as anger instead. People tell her she's really pretty for an albino, like what the heck does that even mean. It pisses me off. She has the most giving heart but stays in a shell because she wants to avoid the curious stairs from her different look.
I can identify with Diandra on so many levels although I am not Albino. I am light skin with freckle from a multi-racial background (black, Chinese, Indian and Portuguese), both my parent are mixed and light skin. I grew up in JAMAICA W.I. And I heard this all my life. I would be teased on a daily basis about my light skin and freckles. They would say, "RED GAL, ALBINO, BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL BUT RED IN CORRUPTION, RED ANTS, RED DURT, YOU THINK YOU ARE WHITE, YOU ARE UGLY". I was not the standard of beauty for Jamaica. But something happen in my life, I came to NEW YORK to live when I was 19 years old, back in the eighties and I was look on like a MODEL, SUPER STAR. I was getting all this positive attention, men thought I was exotic and beautiful. I had people coming up to me and asking me to model their clothing collection. I would get marriage proposal quite often, my college friends always wonder why I got so much attention on the streets of NEW YORK. Back then it was ok to be light skin and look different, now not so much.
I think its absolutely deplorable to know that these people are mistreated for there differences and in the black races especially we should really know better than that. to me it is UNFORGIVABLE to be part of a persecuted group and then turn around and persecute people for their differences. It's just shameful wicked disgusting and should be punished. There is a special place in hell for people that do that.

its sad that people in this day and age still make gross ignorant comments about a condition that's been around for Ages, Albinism is a phenomenon but not new + quite normal among various ethnics groups in African
@@kwatoniaanderson5209 OP was simply asking a question. No need to jump down their throat. I'd no idea that that was part of the condition until I read these comments. Please don't ridicule people for asking questions. How else do they educate themselves?
I don't see albinism when I look at her! I see a beautiful light skinned Angel! I hope her man worships the ground she walks on and treats her like gold!
This is fascinating. Does they call themselves Black? This is why Blacks shouldn't call themselves Black, they should call themselves African Americans instead.
Wow she is really stunning. And brave.

Drop dead gorgeous!!
I don’t see why she was made fun of she’s absolutely pretty.
It was simply because she was different which is a damn shame.
@@Daron7181 what she only need is to make her hair kinda look Afro to make her feature look like ordinary half white half black girl
Maybe their jealous
Black community cast away black albinos, they see them as not one of their kind
Probably from black people themself
How wouldshe ever could be a „werid beauty”. She is so absolutely beautifull.
woow...she is unique...stunning

You can see the Nystagmus in her eyes. A common trait of people with Albinism

She’s really pretty
Gorgeous queen
Wow gorgeous
She's very pretty, but why are her eyes jittering like that?
It's a part of the condition.
This is why we need more education out there.
Ninosław Ciszewski also both eyes tend to look at diff directions
Ninosław Brzostowiecki I'm also albino her eyes move like that because of stigmatism, and ocular albinism, you need to educate yourself SERIUOSLY

For real
beautiful!!..
Absolutely beautiful
Very beautiful . Georgiou's !
Hermosa. No entiendo por qué los persiguen.
Gorgeous.
well tbh she look like ordinary half white half black girl,, so why some people freak out about her condition??
Adults can be more ignorant, and mean then children.
Her eyes always shaking. What happen?
If ur albino u have vision problems
Nystagmus is a condition that is common with Albinism where your eyes tend to shake all the time.
I am a person with albanism and my eyes shake and it's called nastagmis.
Stop saying albino, say person with albanism
o yeah mr krabs do u notice that ur eyes are looking at diff direction? Or it jitters an u don’t notice ?
However as a person she will face Discrimination all her life no matter where she goes.
omg why her eyes move like that? ._.
Most of albinos eyes move like that
It's apart of the condition
Great!
Her eyes are that way because albinism affects the eyes as well. She is such a good soul.
Real beauty, I see features not color
Respect.. you hot tho'..🔥💯
Why do her eyes shake
What kind of a stupid question is that?u better educate yourself
+lorrenzo mokgosana why are you offended by that question?
I don't see albinism when I look at her! I see a beautiful light skinned Angel! I hope her man worships the ground she walks on and treats her like gold!
