Hello if I scored a 942 in math and a 5 diagnostic we’re can I be placed? I am wanting to get into A&P 1.

Hi, if I didn’t not pass with a 945 but for the diagnostic passed with a 5 with a essay with 5 does it mean I’m college ready ?

If your diagnostic is at least 6 and have a 950 you are college ready. So you did pass in the essay section with being college ready but unsure in math.

@@mozustrein how do you get a diagnostic level of 6? is it by doing the 48 questions after the original 20 original questions? (referring to the math section)

@@zealous8390 Personally what I have been informed, you have to answer most of the 29 or so questions correctly and you get a smaller amount of questions; unfortunately if you answer the 29 or so questions incorrectly by majority & get the 40 so questions, you have ultimately failed the math section but can still try your best on the 40 or so questions to get a higher overall score.

@@zealous8390 + I believe you got confused with the use of a singular number for Math? What I have seen is that math is in three digit diagnostics while writing is only given in a singular number..

@@mozustrein for the math section im taking we have 20 questions which is the 1st section of the math TSI. If you fail that 20 question section you are taken to a second section which contains 48 questions. So my question was if I do well enough on the 48 question section is that were I can receive my diagnostic level of six. Because my institution accepts a score of less than 950 and a diagnostic level of 6 on the math portion of the TSI.
