Thank you for your comment. There is a link in the disruption. If you are rigging through grating often. I would suggest going with a Hard Barrier like the RopesEdge Vortex or the DMM Edge Hog. Try to stay away from using soft rope sleeves around “sharp edges”. These should always be used as a last resort.
Skylotec has a descender like the ID called the Sirius Descender that's rated at 250kg, this means you can have two people on it for rescue with no problem? Jim
