Bombogor Anatolia was the heartland of the roum or Roman Empire. The word roum or Roman refers to Christian Greeks who Christians around the time Constantine. This music’s goes all back to the of Alexander. That’s why Indians are playing this music with the Greeks. Turks you have connection with this music. Get it out of your minds

Turkey is squatting on older greek culture. Istanbul was Constantinople.
look it up. Even istanbul is taken from Greek 'mes stin polis ' to the city.
Izmir is taken from word Smyrna.
      You are welcome.
      When turk invaded they couldn't
beat our culture, music , food, coffee they became invaded by our culture which was tied to asia minor land for centuries. It makes me giggle when people say its turkish no its definitely Greek .
Brush up on your history a little.
      Turks are really mongols.

Look it up...how until this day the nomads of Altai live !!! There are no trees, no agriculture, still Nomads.... Families in Tsantir with shalvar...only jiaourt and slaughter of animals....maybe Sodomie...... Music and culture are only possible in civilizations and the greatest of mankind is the Greek one....ask not the Greeks, ask the English, Germans, Italians, France, Austrians, Sweden, Spanish, Portuguese, I will not mention USA because they are people from those countries....at last one wort, Renaissance.
But you learned in your stupid school of yours that all inventions are made by Turks !!!!!!!!!!!!! The first in the Moon.... brain-dead people.
By the way, that land is occupied and must be returned to the owners.

The Ottomans stole it like everything else! It is Indo Greek, Turkey did not exist when this music was conceived, all of Asia minor was Greek speaking and this goes back even before Byzantium! Look at all the Greek names in what is now called Turkey! You need to learn some History!

Pete Loannou. Maybe it is a good idea to relate to the particular song, instead of these generalizing statements. The name of the song is: Trakya karsilamasi and is Ottoman/Turkish. The sheets notes are here: www.turkuler.com/nota/ezgi_trakya_karsilamasi_3.html
