I'm so glad it helped! When I made it I wasn't sure if this was going to be useful, but based on comments like yours it makes me happy that others found it useful and are using it! I love escape room parties :)
Ben Parsons yay!!! That’s the reason I make these videos....I’m honored to have helped a school in any way I can. I fee that these are a TON of fun for all involved...I am excited for you and hope that you have a great time and it’s the first of many!
Yay! I love when people appreciate this video! It was different than most of my content but I felt that it was important to share, we had such a fun party. Hope you're able to play or host many games with these tips!
Thanks for the amazing video! I am trying to plan a escape game for the local public library to bring more kids to the magical world of books so your video was really useful and full of great ideas!
Yay!!!! Thankyou that makes me SO happy to hear!! When I planned mine I found the ideas on RUclips and blogs helped SO much and wanted to give back the things I learned. I hope it goes great and you have as much fun as I did when you run it!!
this video is really helpful! i was looking for this kind of video and i never found the one that explains from a to z. thanks also for the idea of powerpoint smartart (:
You can search for 'clear lockpick set' and similar on Amazon and find everything you need. There are youtube tutorials for lockpicking. The basic Lock I show here, being clear, is fairly easy to learn and rewarding (the clear locks are meant for practice, and being able to see inside takes a large amount of the mystery away). I just wouldn't think that because the clear lock is easy that you can run around and be a lock smith...'actual' locks are typically designed to prevent basic picking skills and utensils, and it takes practice like all things.
thank you for the ideas and especially the puzzle flow!

In the escap room 6 tips where did you get the bell jar codex. I would love to get one for my own escape room.
Argh I spent 20 mins looking for it and can’t find it. I’m pretty sure it was on Amazon though but I can’t find it currently :(
@@geektoolkit thanks for the effort. I spent equally as much time searching. Is there a brand name on the bell jar?
I don’t have it handy sadly it’s at a remote vacation house that I won’t see till summer, that was my first thought. :(
Oh wait!!!!!! I think I found it… ”puzzle pod” - puzzle-pod.com/product-info/
@@geektoolkit you did, indeed. It has been successfully ordered. My escape room is in motion thanks to you.
I really like this lock pick idea. How does it work , how do I get one, and is it easy to learn for someone who has never done it?
