Hey bestie in the future if you for any reason want to use those tubes again, you can probably just use rubber bands from the hair care section of like target or Sally’s beauty supply. They’re very small so you wouldn’t need to cut or resize them but would probably be thick enough to solve your problem

Online calculators didn’t work for me either. Modeling in sketchup and playing with scrap pieces ended up being the way I went similar to the arithmetic method that you did. Did I spot a surfboard as a glue up table? I love the bathtub workshop too!
You know you can go to a store that sells women’s hair products and kids hair accessories and they have small sized rubber bands for girls hair that would fit those test tubes. That way you don’t have to spend all that time on cutting and glueing rubber bands.
