    FOOD FOR THOUGHT
    To be honest, I was always wondering where and when the next trail shelter would be. But after reviewing your very informative video, it dawned on me that it was more than just hiking trails and staying at shelters. I realized that it wouldn't be bad for me to wake up and smell the roses once in a while.
    As a big fan of IHOP restaurants, how prevalent are they on or near the trail within walking or shuttle distance? Looking forward to seeing more of your informative videos. 😃😃😃

    Being a thru hiker I don't understand why people continue to try profiting from the Appalachian Trail. It seems as if many hikers miss what the trail actually gives you. I enjoy the reviews and documentaries of the trail but beyond that I don't get the monetization and narcissistic addiction. The trail isn't a career its rather a lifetime experience.

    FYI, the outfitter at Angel’s Rest is liquidating his stock. Another victim of the COVID economy.

  • @jimmyjohnstone7258

    Did you pay 100 bucks for a room at Chica Sunset place? The rate on the website is 50 per person per night sharing, two bed room. It says if the room is only occupied by one, the price is 100. The price is per room. In Covid time surely they cannot expect guests who do not know each other to share bedrooms. I would not even want to share the common facilities such as showers, kitchen.

    • @ChicaandSunsets
      @ChicaandSunsets 3 года назад +3

      Hi Jimmy - yes, the price at our hostel is $50 per bed. If you prefer to have the room to yourself it would be $100. Sounds like a hotel room might fit your needs a bit better than a hostel. All hostels are going to have multiple people in them. Our 2/1 bath apartment has a max capacity of 4 compared to most other hostels using bunks and crowding as many hikers in as possible. Best of luck in your journeys.
