  • In this video we take an in depth look at ADDICTIVE KEYS from XLN AUDIO. You will see how ADDICTIVE KEYS works, everything from choosing a piano, using the included MIDI, saving presets, recording memos, editing the sound, adjusting FX, and much more.
You will learn everything you need to know about ADDICTIVE KEYS in this video. It's like the manual, except you can see and hear how every parameter works.
ADDICTIVE KEYS is different from any other piano virtual instrument around. It packs some really modern features into it, things that you would never expect, like the ability to save your presets to the cloud - instantly. You can record samples with each preset you make to better identify what you need. You can choose between several microphones and positions, make basic adjustments, and add FX. Oh, and the pianos sound damn good too.
ADDICTIVE KEYS can be used as a plugin in your DAW, and Standalone.

Great explanation. Could you show the set up to use as vst instrument. It's shows in the list and it also opens hence it does load sounds. I totally understand the functions now.

Do you know how to set midi learn functions on AK? For example using a knob from a midi controller to adjust one of the 'macro controls' on the 'explore' page

I have the same question...Is it possible to asign the master volume control to the midi controller? Or another function...

I am having a great deal of issues with using Addictive keys with my digital piano and audio interface. The sound like it is coming from a barrel.

I had this issue with other plugins. the reason for that is that your midi is being used as a speaker and that doesnt sound good u just have to change the output in settings and it will become normal

You should have started out by telli ng us WHAT THIS ACTUALLY IS!! EZ drummer folks made EZ KEYS, hich is the same type thing as ez drummer, you choose from tons of midi 4 bar clips in different keys and drag tem in to your songs, it's for NON KEYBOARD PLAYERS to have some keys in their songs. So the first thing you should have done as explain if THIS IS THE SAME THING. Of course many ould think it is since XLN does the same thing the folks do who made EZdrummer do. MY GOD, I watched this who thing and you NEVER actually said, "Hey, this is a thing just like EZ keys and is for NON keyboard players to use midi clips so they can have keys in their songs." Or you should have said, "hey, this is NOT THE SAME AS EZ KEYS and it is simply a vst or standalone keyboard for people who play keys and it is the same thing that there are a zillion of like you can get for Kontakt or any other vst keyboard" So i'm sitting here wating for a frickin HOUR for you to actually say WHAT THIS IS, becase you mention some midi clips, and sho a few, you drag a few in to a track like you can do ith EZ KEYS, yet you NEVER DO say "hey, there are hundreds of midi clips in here just luike there are hundreds of beats in Addictive drums and a bunch in EZ keys. Dude, why did you make me sit through this ithout telling us, WHAT THIS IS??

I've never used EZ Keys, how would I say if its the same thing? Further, they are not the same thing. Every instrument uses different samples. Also, this is not just for dragging in MIDI. You can play this like every other piano VI.
