While Coco battles through the Challenger Series in California, Portugal, and France alongside her brother Mason, she examines how her iconic family has shaped her unique place in the surfing world. With her comeback campaign finishing on the North Shore, the series ends where it all began for Coco, creating a dramatic homecoming that will determine the next chapter of her already stellar career.

I have a 4year old daughter. I am so thankful to all the women in surfing, pro or not, for charging and being positive role models. Weather she surfs or not, at least I can show her women I look up 2 and respect. Thank u Coco Ho. Your awesome!!

Coco, please don’t feel bad you are one of the best and my favorite. I felt your pain watching this. There are some on the tour that are one dimensional and really shouldn’t be there but for some weird twist of fate they are. I will always be a fan. I know I’m just an old fart that use to surf years ago but still follow the sport and enjoy watching. Whatever you choose to do you will always be awesome.

Go again next year the Tour needs your character and skill level!!. I've only been to the Northshore once in 2012 when Parko won, taking many pics at 'Rockies' and I am sure some of your 'mates' were captured at the time, no surfing was done as Jeff Crawfords where we stayed said "Borrow" a board. Never did happen, and now too old to even contemplate surfing the North Shore. Go For It COCO from an OZZIE fan.
That was sad to watch. Coco took the right approach and went on the offensive early, and it still didn’t work out for her. Not sure what else she could’ve done. When you do everything you possibly can and still lose, it is very hard to swallow. Usually when we lose in life we know where we screwed up, what we weren’t willing to sacrifice, etc. But, sounds like Coco did everything she could’ve, yet still came up short.
I’ve only ever felt like that once; after a failed relationship in life…all my other failures, whether or not I’ve ever said it aloud, were all me.
And, I fully empathize with the notion of time stopping for no one, and being a year older. Maybe Coco should focus on having a family, that would change her purpose big time, and it might even give her a new fuel for her fire.
I feel like board sports in general are super elusive with regard to getting to the top and staying on top. Even really great riders can’t seem to hold onto whatever it is they’re tapping into for too long.
