A Film Photographer Tries Dehancer

- I've been shooting film for decades, so I have opinions about Dehancer. In this video, we will go over some comparisons between actual film shots I've taken vs the emulations. There were some areas where I was pleasantly surprised and other areas where I think there could be a little room for improvement.
For some reason my clumsy fingers caption "AFGFA" during the video. I meant to type "AGFA."

Kevin, thanks for your review! Beautiful results! We are happy to answer any questions 😃
Thank you for letting me check out such a cool program! I am planning on integrating it into my workflow moving forward.
Great review! The comparison shots were very valuable and amazing to look at.
I've been trying Dehancer for a few weeks and I like the results a lot. It's just a bit slow and clunky at times. But to me it's also very educational. I don't know much about film and it's really interesting to play around with these and also the print profiles.
By the way, my download came with a PDF with instructions on how to "reset" the (in my case) Lightroom file so Dehancer can most effectively apply the film profiles. So it's a good idea to read the manual first. 😁
Sounds advice on the manual.
Thank you.

It's without a doubt the closest I've gotten to film without actually shooting film.
