So just some small things I like to add for the tips. 1. Do not touch the field while the time is stopped. They froze your farming xp while the time is frozen, so it’d be a waste of rp, and potential skill xp. 2. Do not tilt all the tiles. Random items spawns on “wild” tiles. And it is a good way to get withered grass, stone, wood, and some time rune flower. 3. Don’t get discourage when your wifu/husbando rejects you. Do it every day, higher relationship ranks give your better odds of them respond positively, but they could still reject you for the day even if your relation level was high enough for the next step. 4. Tame them monsters. They are your work slave, your body guard, special service, and vehicle all roll up in one. You treat them good and level them up, they’ll make your enemy regret even looking at your direction. 5. Upgrade, upgrade, upgrade!!!!!! Do not get attach to your gear, you WILL change gear, ALOT. The power curve of the weapons and armours are frankly ridiculous, if you are falling behind on gear, you won’t even be able to scratch your foe. While if your are ahead, the bosses looks like baby kittens with no claw trying to meow at you to scare you away. 6. Fishing. Trust me, for new player fishing is your bread and butter. Fishes can be use to make food using knife at low level, which provide both cooking xp, and early game healing items. Just do it. 7. Use, not throw. Early game, and even mid to late game, you’ll find that your backpack is way smaller than you through, and your bag will get filled up. At times like that. Look through your bags for any food, or useable items. Instead of throwing away precious loot, use some of the item to heal up or fill up. 8. RP is everywhere. Believe it or not. There is a unholy amount of RP just lying around. See those while flowers? Cut them and there is a ball of RP for your trouble, see those crystals? Break them, and ball of RP. See that weird fairy looking thing after harvesting crops? That is a giant ball of RP. 9. DON’t over work yourself. Many new player may not know, but when you are crafting something, and you run out of RP, you can still keep crafting. But it takes a chunk out of your health. You get two free craft after RP runs dry. And on the third one. You DIE! (Ok, you faint. But let’s be honest. You dies). 10. Learn what they like. While villagers will take almost anything. There is a few specific things each villager loves. When gifting them those gift they love, you revive significantly more relationship point than just giving the. any random item off the street. For those of you who also love Xiao Pai, she Loves Chinese food and flowers( hint hint).
I have one I'd like to add as well. Every day before you eat anything add clorica to your party. If you haven't ate anything that day she will throw food at you and it ranges from mid level to potentially high level food. You do have to dodge it when she throws it or you will instantly eat it but it's a great way to stock up on good food for free. I think you have to be in combat and hurt in order for her to do it though.
@@TheGameLooters I think it's only once a day but it's still nice. Only reason I found out is I like to keep her and forte in my party because they both have healing spells.
- You don't want to till all your field until you have enough lumber and mineral stone, you get it from mining/ chopping objects that only appear on un tilled soil ( unless there is a typhoon). You need lumber and mineral stone to get a crafting table, barn and much more. - You can tell a character 'I love you' but I believe that they won't except until you have a high enough friendship level AND you have completed the first ark of the game, there are 3. Most characters won't marry until after the second ark, some won't even except a confession till then. Note there are a select 6 charters that can be married by each genders, not all charters can be marred even if they look like it. You can't be homosexual but you can change your gender latter in the game. - Hot springs are a good idea because its free 5 times and most likely by your sixth the price will be so low by comparison. - The mailbox is a good idea at the begging of the game especially for new players, but there will come a time to stop using it because the rewards aren't as valuable. I don't know why he decided to make a video for "pro tips" on a game he just started, and has never beaten. I say all this as someone who has finished the game and played through its beginning ark like 5 times on the 3ds. Many players have done much more. My tips: - Get a forge quick and get your level up and eat a lot of weapon bread ( eating bread is how you learn recipes in rune factory) you may be able to forge really good weapons if you have the right materials - Try all the weapons most people pick dual blades or short sword, but other weapons have real strategic advantages, and you don't have to pick one type. It helps if you use more than one through out the game and it's not that hard. I have personally played with all six at once before. - Learn at least one element of magic and up your skill by using it to drain all extra RP before bed, you don't need to us magic on an enemy to get skill points. also some enemies are very un effected or not effected by non magic attacks, weapons can have an element and you can add one by upgrading your weapon with a crystal, but most weapons don't have an element so your magic will come in handy. - Have antidote grass in your storage (it cures poison)
If it is still early in the day and you're out of RP and don't have the resources or funds to replenish you can just stand still and it will regenerate slowly. In about 1 or 2 minutes/ In game hours you can go from empty to full.
Villagers also arent a bad choice for your party. Some are definitely better than others, but they learn skills as they level up. In fact unless you are giving a gift that is going to boost your monster well enough everyday (each gift has a different value), they are the better choice. Would highly recommend Forte, Leon, and Vishnal. Edit: Monsters are better early on though. Villager AI is really bad to start and they require good equipment like you do.
Do the requests till you get the quest to raise the level of a crop and ship it. By completing this request you unlock the ability to raise the level of seeds shops sell. Sell a high level seed you make or crop and the seed for said crop will now be sold at that level. Keep in mind before doing that quest the ability to raise the shops seed levels is locked off. I have no idea why but yeah keep that in mind.
@@TheGameLooters you have to have an engagement ring and give a hundred gifts. I'm going to do Leon. But the only one that doesn't I believe its Dylas.
Oh my gosh I was struggling for so long thank you so much! I wanted to marry Xaio but I had no idea what I was doing wrong. But I see now, make sure to talk to her and give her presents, ok! Easily the most helpful tip on the list.

I'm pretty sure kiel also throws food if you fight with him, probably with the same consistency as villagers use cure all. (Heal spell)
