    I got this in the 2022 model. 154. I am about 65-70 kilos. Rode it about 50-60 days total. Had a blast on it. I was able to progress a lot with it. It was a bit harder to butter in the beginning but my skill might be involved. After 35 days or so it started to feel like a dream. Powder float was not the best at first either but that was fixed with a set back on the bindings. That gave me even a bigger nose to practice butters on. Paired it with some union ultras. I would totally recommend this board to anyone that wants a one board quiver. Rode only this one through everything last season and it worked just fine. You can also score the older models at really good prices. Got mine at about 300 usd I think.

    Had the privilege of riding a few different versions of this board through out the years. Including this one and I have to say, a true quiver killer of a board. Rome makes an incredible snowboard product and this one is one of their best.
    Great turning, great pop, easy to engage and fun when you want to goof around. Can be pushed harder when you need it to be there as well. The hot rods make this board boost but I notice they don’t really fight you when you press the board. Probably because of the good amount of rocker in the tip and tail from Rome’s fusion camber profile.
    As an east coast snowboarder, I have never had a problem with this board holding an edge on ice. So if you’re worried about that part, don’t. This things sidecut competes with the best of them.
    If you need one snowboard deck that can do it all, this is probably one of the best options on the market. It’s just tried and true and from the moment you step on it, you feel like you’ve ridden it a million times.
    I have to say, I liked the Rene-gade slightly more than this board but I also like more aggressive and stiff camber. And I can easily see where the renegade is too much board for most.

      Did you notice any change between the ‘21/‘22 version and this latest one? I have the former which is in need of replacement and was curious if it changed at all.

    • @henryviz
      @henryviz Год назад

      @@sanderbongertman4063 tbh, I haven’t ridden the 21/22 since that season. Nothing has changed in the shaping of the board. However, they did add a few things under the hood. The biggest being the flax wall impact plates under the feet. Really just helps dampen chatter at higher speeds. I would say the board is maybe slightly stiffer than older versions but not so much that it’s another board. All in all I would tell you they’re pretty much the same besides some ever so slightly minor tweaks that just make it a better overall preforming board

      @@henryviz I just got the 2024 model last week, broke two of the 2023 models some how. First 2023 got a big crack across the topsheet of the tail after 2 days of riding, the replacement they sent me did the same thing but across the nose after 12 days when riding the nose out after landing a 180 off a roller. Was really bummed and got a hold of Rome and told them I didn't want another 2023, Rome was going to look over the 2023 inventory. Rome stepped up and offered me any board I wanted but I loved the crewzer so much in the short time I rode the other 2 I had to get another. Only have a couple days on the 2024 but it seems to have just a touch more pop and a touch damper in than the 2023 at high speed. I thought the construction didn't change from 23 to 24 so maybe it's just me since I've been riding my Ravine Select while waiting on the 2024 model. Either way I agree with you and Angry's review, this board just rips and could definitely be a quiver of one. The pop on this board is great. As Angry said it pops off anything but if you put a little effort into it it no longer pops it boosts!! Man Rome's sidecut on this thing is awesome, it literally pops from turn to turn on tight turns or it will rail a turn and dig a trench at speed. I actually did my first legit euro carve on this thing without hardly trying. I'm 220lbs with a size 11 boot and got the 160W for reference.

    I have the 22/23 model, Board felt pretty stiff for the first 3-4 days on snow until I broke it in. I had ridden it with both Katanas (main binding for the season) and then another couple days using Cleavers. I had a ton of fun with the Cleavers if you're an aggressive rider as it's super poppy but it was definitely tiring. Anything over 7-8 inches of snow I'd say to move to something more all-mountain freeride or powder oriented.

    I've put on this deck 20 days last season. Agree with a edge hold, it lacks a bit on really hard snow and ice. It didn't have a good sharp edges straight out of the factory so maybe that's the case. What really stands out for me is build quality, pretty solid definitely beter than Ride or Capita. Overall good snowboard but not amazing, worth buying when it's discounted. And I don't agree it's a party board. It's your typicall allmountain freestyle deck.

    Can't decide between this or the Agent. It would be my daily for ripping the entire mountain with some park laps mixed in. Lots of sidehits, buttering, and just playing around the mountain.
