Dennis you just made me remember my dad. he was the sports car manager for Louis Chevrolet in the late 60's. Vettes Chevelles and so on. he always said his favorite and scariest car was the 69 396 375 horse 4 speed Novas with chambered exhaust. said youd back them up to the showroom, and the exhaust note would rattle the glass. The original dog dish hubcap sleepers of the era. Thanks for bringing back great memories of Pops.
Thanks, I remember these CHEVY S::& other MUSCLE STUFF, **I graduated HS IN 1965:: lots of CHEVY DEALERS, & Fans, etc. ( FORT WAYNE , COLUMBIA CITY, CHURBUSCO INDIANA, Etc. ) .. I spent all my time in Service stations/ CAR nights, etc. A pair of Schoolmates worked at Dealer : nice things came for cars if , one knew SERVICES, ETC. I
So brave always to eat in a new restaurant before a 400 mile ride home. I hope you know where the rest stops are. Great episode with some nice people in Arkansas.
It is so refreshing to see you just say I’m going to give you what you’re asking. It really gets old seeing people haggle over 1,000 bucks and act like it’s life or death then brag about it. Love you Dennis, you are truly a legit and great guy. Not to mention you always treat everyone with great respect and that makes you all the better of a guy!!! I will always be watching
People bargain because they don't have the money you think they have... Dennis worked his ass off buying, flipping, and restoring... don't even think that he can't turn a profit on these vehicles...the bargaining has already been done before they start their truck...
We were in Dallas last weekend for the international guitar show, we went to flying fish for dinner, and went by Collins’s brothers shop for a quick picture, and seen the 72 blazer in the driveway, cool truck !
Yes it’s Friday what a great coffee walk. Always humbles me to see Dennis open the door and be such a gentleman. I’m not a GM guy but he saved the Mustang lol!!!
Dennis it must be the best thing in life to go out there and meet these car guys and haggle over treasure , the thing that makes your operation 1 cut above the rest is you see the value and never try to beat the guys into the weeds with the price it seems fair and honest horse trading to me and hell if you didn’t play it the way you do I don’t think they would want to sit down and eat lunch with you would they? All the best from wales uk
@@bamaz2867 you ain't lying. I liked that show/channel for a long time but I can't take him anymore. Hate it bc his team looks like solid guy's. but the woo-hoo, look at me, slick my hair back a zillion times, wanna be rockstar shtick has worn me out. I'm like bro, you're not 'that' cool, just do your thing. What really turns me away tho is when he shits all over people's stuff and turns into a yard sale haggler. You can show a whole lot more class by keeping your trap shut than telling an elderly person or one of their family members "you've shown me the junk, where's the good stuff"
Absolutely….Dennis plays the long game. Treat people with respect and be kind and guess what…they call you back the next time they find another great car to sell. It’s smart business to be Nice…but Dennis really is which makes it even better.
Coffee walk is my favorite thing to watch , I liked when you started putting stickers on the restaurant doors , hope you are still doing that , and would like to see that included on the video . Keep up the great work . 👋
You guys were less than 45 minutes from an over 100 truck hoard of 67 to 80 gm trucks I'm working my way into starting a DEAL conversation...if I have success might be hearing from me great vidyas
Really surprised to see Alex not go with the Mac N Cheese.....thought that was a staple of his diet. Great finds as always. Happy Mothers Day to Mrs Collins.
Amazing what these old Blazers are bringing today. My carpenter father owned a '70, '71, and a '78 back in the day. Back then they were just good work trucks/family haulers. Bet he wishes he still had them.
Those were some super solid people at Ray's, from the owner down to every person who helped, glad that you got great treasures rescued and I add another place to eat if and when I get to adventuring in retirement. Great work Team CBJ!!
That center console is "a story". With the column shift automatic, Pontiac added a BLOCK OFF PLATE over where the available floor shift would go. Peek at how Pontiac used the same console body as floor shift applications and how the block off panel is attached.
Mr Dennis, always like the fact that you never haggle or try to beat the people down on their price. Class act!!! Just wish I could be there when you guys go eat afterwards. The food always looks great and once again I’m freakin’ hungry after watching you eat 🤣Another great video 👍

Outstanding!
Bitchin time to be a Car Man…
I have heard the windows rattle on main st...I thought What, Then I saw the car and knew what it was.
These kind of places getting this kind of exposure is priceless
Man it’s a dream just to walk there
Batesville Ark.The home of NASCAR's Mark Martin.
Finally able to join early!!! letsss goooo
I love the way Dennis orders food in all his videos. Down to the perfect bite
He should do ads for Grecian Formula.
I want to know why he doesn’t weigh 300 pounds.

Every buy has been set up ahead of time, you must know that,
The haggling happens behind the scenes . Im sure if its something he wants as long as it not over priced hell pay whatever for it.
@@bfrmda8065 I realize that but most after seeing it would still try to get a lower price.
@@TheEnd-eg6wq I realize that but most will still try to get a lower price after they see it.
Alex didn’t get Mac n cheese, wow!!😂😂
I noticed that too! Is he feeling OK?
That blue/white C-10 was sweet.

Hello from the boogie down Bronx.
Got my cup of Joe and ready sounds outstanding
🤣🤣
The way the OPEN sign flashed it's lights at The River restaurant, reminded me of the PORKY'S riverboat sign..
What a great movie
I love your shows. You have a little bit of everything. But it seems like a long time we have to wait for new videos.

Well said. A lot better than his “how much is this $3,000 car” counterpart.
sorry for the typos - should have read: "outstanding", COPO & Welsh. Too many beers consumed tonight!

Hello from da Boogie down Bronx
How can you not love going to buy old cars and going out to eat ,looks like an incredible day to me.👍
Cool..... made by angels in Lordstown. That was the local advertising slogan here in northeast Ohio.
I always liked your attitude honest and always a great smile
Alex is a cool young man. He sure puts up with your crazy stuff. HA.
....just some good 'ole boys, never meaning no harm . .... Love it.🐶🐶🐶
The owner looks like Richard Boone, great western actor
Look forward to seeing Alex take over some buys after your mentorship Dennis. Great to see a pro like you so hands on!.
love seeing the small bits of history of all the small towns!
Just love your straight shooting style, you arrive, say yes it is what you said, deal, you don't then argue price!

I love ❤ this channel! There’s no b*tching & moaning, just a “Get er done” attitude! No drama, no egos, & no politics!

Def my favorite is that ya dont have to watch anything that is plotted and scripted best videos ever.. Real people real life!! OUTSTANDING!
Those were some super solid people at Ray's, from the owner down to every person who helped, glad that you got great treasures rescued and I add another place to eat if and when I get to adventuring in retirement. Great work Team CBJ!!
I pulled up at work and this dude has a beautiful K5 blazer and I immediately thought of Dennis.
Just the best programme on RUclips.

Damn son! I did the same thing with a 73 blazer and a 77 firebird! Prettycool on 40"s! Made a 4x4 firebird. It was the 80s, what can i say.
Mr Dennis, always like the fact that you never haggle or try to beat the people down on their price. Class act!!! Just wish I could be there when you guys go eat afterwards. The food always looks great and once again I’m freakin’ hungry after watching you eat 🤣Another great video 👍
