This is such a good song, I had to double check this wasn't from the actual game! You should be proud of yourself for making an amazing track like this.
For the longest time I only had the Explorers of Time/Darkness soundtrack, you could have told me this was one of ths songs in Sky and I'd belive you. Even listening through EOS soundtrack, this would fit so well at the end of it, after all grovile and dusknoir went through.
I was gonna comment that having a little spacetime leitmotiv in the song would be great... AND RIGHT AS I WAS ABOUT TO, IT DOES HAPPEN. You're a genius, this is great!
the music sets in as you and your partner approach the tower, reaching far beyond the clouds. you had many adventures before, even saved the world. but this was something else. the presence at the top was out of sight, but you still felt it sending shivers down your spine. still, you showed bravery. the two of you make your way inside, climbing floor to floor. as you reach higher altitudes, you feel the air slowly being pushed out of your lungs. you've been in here for several days now, only taking small rests whenever you found a save area. just how far high up did you already get now? the fights get more and more difficult, you noticed. it wasn't that the pokemon grew stronger, no. you've almost reached a point where they're as weak as the pokemon on your first visits of dungeons. but you were also affected by this curse, becoming weaker and weaker with every passing staircase. your partner felt dizzy as you noticed the approach of the final few floors. it almost turned into an escort mission, having to constantly keep in check with them to not leave them behind. maybe you were ever so slightly less affected because you were a human? at last, you reached the top. your eyes set on the stars, shining in the distance. the clouds stretched far below, like a distant dream. but suddenly, your sight was drawn to the middle of the platform as the brightest light your brain was able to comprehend appeared. seemed like it was time for a final battle
Been listening to this on and off for maybe two months now, and I've gotta say.. This is EXTREMELY well done. Really glad you finished it. I've heard a lot of fanmade PMD music, and this is definitely my favorite of them. It genuinely sounds just like something straight out of the Explorers- If you had a PMD fan listen to this and told them it was an unused song for Destiny Tower, I'm sure they'd believe it. I definitely would. I really love how you included a bit of Temporal Tower as well, establishing a connection between Dialga and Arceus, just like how PMD uses its music like that as well, to connect pokemon and places. It also has that feeling of being a final adventure, not the same way Temporal Tower/Spire are, but like you're scaling the one thing that hasn't been climbed before, you're going to be the first one to finally reach the top. I think it'd be cool if this played on, say, the final 10 floors of the dungeon. (As much as I like the song, listening to it for 2 hours straight in a dungeon might be a bit too much for most people, lol) Overall this is an extremely well made fanmade PMD2 song, easily my favorite that I've heard so far, and you really deserve more recognition for it. This is amazing.
@@DjMuffinTopsof course! If you do get around to making more, I'll definitely listen to it. I wouldn't focus on trying to top this one though, it might add too much stress or make you demotivated. Just focus on what you can do comfortably. Though, if you do somehow manage to top this, well that'd just be amazing- I'd really be surprised. Best wishes to you!
I was listening to a mix playlist and this came on, I honestly thought this was just from the game because I've never played nor seen Destiny Tower, very well done!
I still never could beat Explorers of Sky's Destiny Tower. Every time I got decently far I'd either run out of a vital resource like apples or max elixiers, or if I was good on resources I'd hit a grudge trap or something and have my run end in an instant. To this day its the only dungeon in Explorers of Sky (and I think the only dungeon in the whole series) that I haven't beaten.
This is incredibly fitting and an overall outstanding work, i dare say it's better than most of the originals, great job man! Anyway, is there a way to download it in mp3? I'd love to get it for the phone
The use of the leitmotif at 4:18 was brilliant. Really makes it feel like you're approaching the grand conclusion to a long adventure.

This is phenomenal
In particular, I love how it sounds reminiscent of Sky Tower at points while still managing to be its own thing

Finally, a theme that's worth all the trouble.
Every lvl reset should get their own theme!
This is fantastic, totally gives the vibe of a grand final adventure scaling something ancient. Really well done with this one! :D
I like to imagine that this track wouldn't play through the whole dungeon, instead starting around the final 15 - 20 floors
dude this is INCREDIBLE, I can't believe I didn't listen to such masterpiece until now!!
So this is what you were working on in VC that one time! It sounds amazing!!
We be looping this for hours!
Unless im reading too much into similarities, i absolutely love the amount of detail in this
Very great song, I almost thought it was from the actual game!
Great job on this!
Ooooh sounds great DJ!!!
This is a great track!! Definitely feels fitting.
This dungeon is brutal

Great job on this one again, Dj!
Wow, this song really gets my PMD gears going, I gotta get back to working on my series too, fantastic job!
the space orb in the picture looks like a cosmomem
No.
Its the other way around.
Cosmomem looks like the space Globe.
Explorers of Sky came before Sun and Moon, don’t disrespect Arceus like this.
