Thanks Sean! One thing this thing does extremely well that I didn't focus on in this video is act as a "all hell breaks loose" pedal when you're already on a gain channel., It's absolutely hilarious how well it works for that I just thought it would have been a bit overkill for this song 🤣. You'll hear it at some point this week.
Thank you Hugh, i look forward to doing more short songs for demos, I only did i think 3 in all of last year but since I play drums and have the kit it's a waste not to do it
I love the 'passive' eq mode on this, as you say, why don't more pedals do this ? I recently got given an eq/ boost/treble boost pedal, and the more I use it, the more I'm discovering how versatile it is. The 2 gain stages on your pedal, make it a very interesting prospect for people like me, who like to keep it simple when playing live: Core sound/core sound a bit crunchier/core sound with teeth. I really don't need much else. Cheers Jim, cool demo mate.
Thanks Rob, the only disappointing thing about this pedal was there wasn't a small piece of paper in the box that explained how the EQ functioned 🤣. I really blew the live demo of this unit and I wanted to try and do this pedal some level of justice because the more I've used it the more I like it. It's simple, and like you, I don't need gobs of gain. Wait for one to pop up on your side of the world and check it out you might fall in love with it
That is really cool. I have 2 Chinese Klon clones and they are my go-to overdrives. I also have a Behringer Tube Overdrive and I did not like that one at all I gave it away after receiving it. But this pedal you does sounds amazing and sounds great in a mix
When I was talking to Dave about the mix itself even he was amazed how little he had to do to get things to sit well together. Sometimes it's worth it for the extra money to get a piece of gear like this, it's actually harder to get a bad sound out of it than a usable one!
Thanks! Were you able to sort out the drop in volumen when changing between od 1 and od 2 which concerned you in the first video you made? I’m considering tris pedal, but I deffinitivally need to have two usable ods that work great independently from each other, and be able to chane between them seemlessly. I wouldnt be that interested if od 2 is only there to boost od1. Thanks again and awesome work!
Yes! It wasn't really a big issue after tinkering a bit and it's not a gigantic gap even if you don't set it right, but I did notice it. You can absolutely use them independently or together with no worries.
Man when the LP kicked in on the first track that was killer. Great playing on the drums too!

Now this is a sweet demo
Thanks Marc, glad you enjoyed it!
That was a fun video Jim. Pedals are so different with a complete mix. You captured the character of the pedal.
Going to need to throw it into bizzaro land on the modern channel of the mesa this week
OD2 sounds super sweet with the Jaguar. But all sounds you recorded are amazing, really :D
Thank you! I love that tone too, it just works so, so well with that. I wasn't expecting OD2 to be as different as it is but man it works.
Great tones for sure! 🎸

Nice job Jim.
Thanks James
Damon Jim that track was epic!
I appreciate it, it was super fun to play the actual guitar parts, I was like a deer in the headlights trying to figure out bass that quick for it 🤣
@@AudiomoMusic this was super interesting to watch, how you broke down every part
Some people say OD2 sounds basically like a Timmy. Would you say that’s accurate?
Its kind of like that, but its much more its own thing than a clone of that imho

Still loving the Les Paul?
It's to die for, absolutely zero regrets or consideration of selling it.
Pretty cool, but drums are mixed in a little too loud.
I didnt mix it but thank you for watching
First jam sounds like led Zeppelin
I will definitely take that as a compliment thanks man
