Total style time is about 20 minutes depending on the amount of hair you have and how fast you are able to curl it!
Keep and Care:
To preserve this style, you can sleep in a satin bonnet, wrap pieces on flexi rods or pin curl sections and cover with a bonnet.

Seems like flat iron curls come out better than curling ironing curls.
That's great information on the oils/heat sprays, etc. I had reasoned that oil + heat = fried, but the bottles still say to use before hot styling products. I have blond, fine hair, and since I started using the new "damaged hair oils", the ends went from OK to dried out and sometimes split. I'll follow your instructions, rather than the manufacturers', because what you say makes sense.
