I'm sure it's not just me who noticed that every beer was a twist off
+Steven Rodriguez Thank you! Why are you way down here get up to the top! :D
Yeah but some people don't twist it and use other objects
+Steven Rodriguez Not sure everyone of them was a twist off, since some of them didn't have the twist grooves on the bottle like #5 and 7. Then again I don't drink bottled beer or beer.
+Steven Rodriguez Came down to the comments to mention that. lol Good eyes good sir.
In Germany we don't have twist offs. So these ways are very common here. :) Also: Schnitzel, Brezel, Bier, Fleischkäse
*_*Dumps out half the beer while trying to open it*_*
+NenaGP just imagine drinking from that last, broken bottle. XD
+NenaGP Yummy glass shards!
mmmm blood yum
i was gonna say that
The man in the video clearly hasn't done something like this before. if you open your beer on of these ways, always push on the cap, not beat on it, it will ruin your beer.
In England we just use our teeth.
Lmao no wonder why they are all wonky
couldn’t find anything in the room to use so used my teeth lol, cheers
Karmamrak I use my teeth too but not all of them I use the fang type thing cause it’s my hardest tooth and there’s no. Way I’ll end up crying at the dentist
What teeth lmao 😂
When we use teeth to open the enamel will be damaged.. Don't open with teeth bruh
I use my teeth as well…I try not to but I can’t help it, it’s just way more easier😭😭
You guys make it seems so easy while I’m over here struggling my ass off !!!
It’s great if you have a ice cream scooper
It’s easy because they have twist off caps lol
@** Jasmine ** I just used scissors and u right. thank you so much!😂🤞🎉🤸🏽♀️❗
@** Jasmine ** I tried everything but nothing worked, but then I used my teeth to remove and it easily got removed lol
@@indiafactsgenius the teeth?
well for starters, the thumbnail picture you have up is of a bottle thats twist off, so you should probably just do that.
As were most of the bottles in the video!
+Michael Raskett :D yeah most of our bottles are twist off ahaha
No wonder they looked really easy to open cause they arent as tight sealed as the regular ones.
some of us like to live dangerously
Michael Raskett i
1:18 Oh yeah, I love the taste of cracked glass and blood in my ice cold beer.
thats the joke moron
Lmao I just tried to use a spoon and broke off the nick of the bottle and poured it in a glass it was a clean cut tho
League is life stfu
@@leagueislife4223 you think buzzfeed made a joke?
idk about other countrys, but in Hungary everybodey opens it like this, if they dont have an opener.
Who snoke into the kitchen as quiet as possible to get a refreshing bottle of coke and then you ran back to your room all happy and then you relize you forgot the bottle openr
legit just did that, ran inside and forgot to grab one lmao, i bust my knuckles while trying to use the flat end of a marker, later watched this and tried it with my scissors and that worked out xD
SNOKE?
I used the door frame one. Super easy and works. My beer definitely spilled though
The door frame one was the only one that worked for me.
I think the door frame one was my favorite 😅
Some of these items are more uncommon than your common bottle opener.
Alex D not in straya mate
Lmaoooo
Is it just me or are these beer bottles fitter with turn/twist caps? Not english so don't know if I'm using the right name for it
Yeah, they're twist-offs
Corona for example has no twist off. And in other countries there are no twist offs. Like here in Germany.
+Alex Cassel right, but every bottle in this video was twist off.
+Alex Cassel right, but every bottle in this video was twist off.
+鬼に金棒 hardly any of them were twist
This video is damn hilarious but I appreciate the amount of effort put in to find those things and actually open the beer. As of me, I got really inspired and opened my beer by the time I reached half of the video 🤭 so thx
Thank you for saving me from a headache and cuts on my hands. I always had trouble doing this because i lost my opener and never really buy beers needing any type of openers. So i always tried with a lighter or coin and i always cut my self or can never get it right. I tried the putting the cap on the edge of a counter or desk and hitting the top of the cap down while holding the bottle and you dont even have to hit it hard and it opens with ease! Thank you so much!
You could do any of these in literally any country.
Nope.. Only in Australia
+Ahmad Fauzi The only one that is truly Australian is the Vegemite one.
Nope, you can literally only do it down under
!
+xChris1998x I don't think so...half of them would never work in Germany... our beer seems to be sealed better or sth... We'd just get a broken lipstick, scratches all over the other surfaces, ripped paper, bent metal and if we succeeded our bottle would most likely look like the last one.
They cheated by using twist offs! XD
Lol
Same old Aussies, always cheating.
Ha
Shitass
I'm currently in Jindabyne at the snow and motel room doesn't have a bottle opener and I was dying for a beer, so came here for tips.
After cutting my finger on the beer cap by trying to use a key, I tried the door lock frame. Instant success!!
Thanks for posting, mate!
Imagine walking on the street seeing a random guy who is opening a bottle with a pavement
Seen it in Germany, it's our national superpower, whether using a spoon, a ledge or a brush. We can open bottles with everything.
Prost!
Omg thats my boyfriend rn 😂😂😂
Me!!!
You never saw it?
Imagine telling that guy that it would have been easier to just simply twist it off.
The door frame is the best way to open a bottle. I used to do the same thing with soft drink bottles when they were too hard to open. It takes me back growing up in Oz
I didn’t even give any of the video suggestions a try… your comment opened a new door for me😂
is it just me or are most of these beers "screw off" lol
Except for the mailbox beer, yes, they indeed are
Hah, a real alcoholic will open a beer bottle with anything lol
SlowMotion frank gallagar 🤣
@@arabellabreeze1804 what I was thibkingggg omgg
0:20 already opened
*Trys all of these, none of them work* me: "oh wait it's a twist off"
The scissors works
I DID ITTT! It works w a spoon sry im 4 years too late doe
the door one works
The door frame works lmfao
The scissors is the best imo
DO NOT USE SCISSORS
let me tell y'all a little story: it was christmas eve, the year was 2014. after a delightful meal with my family which included lots of alcoholic beverages, i go to bed at around 2:30AM. feeling pretty tipsy, i go to get myself a beer in the cellar. when i get back to my room, i realise i've got no bottle opener. i try to be creative; spoon? didnt work. table? didnt work. lighter? didnt work. so i grab a pair of scissors.
long story short, the scissors slipped and cut my thumb to the bone. after bleeding profusely for about 45 minutes, i manage to stop the bleeding. long story made even shorter, i'd cut the tendon in my thumb clean through and needed surgery and a cast to keep my thumb in place so i wouldn't use the tendon, in case it snapped again after the surgery. my left hand was useless to me for about three months.
so moral of the story, in the case of a missing bottle opener, i now either use my teeth or just don't drink the beer.
fukin hell m8
pics or fake
Yolonda McGoldfish yo, if i could (post one) i would but i can't so i shan't
Catalina Lindegaard :(
you use your teeth wow great alternative
I was at my house with a 12 pack of corona on my off day and no bottle opener. First, I panicked then I watched this video for 57 seconds and found a way for me. The door frame works like a charm and they are everywhere in your house. This video helped a lot. 🙏
You alive?
@@breadbake7543 Yes
@@mr.gardner4907 Nice immunity system (hopefully you get the joke)
@@breadbake7543 😂
Thanks for this! I didn’t even have to watch the video 🤣
The brick and door lock part worked for me thanks for the help. Just moved in my townhouse and this was so helpful. Not a beer just a bottle of pop.
If it's gonna be touching my lips, it's not touching a trash bin first.
This wasnt ways of how to open a beer in australia, this was finding anything with an edge and banging the beer against it.
Door frame helped me soooo much!!! Lol I'm at a hospital (long story) but I was gifted a soda in a bottle without help hahaha thanks for posting!!!
Y’all I just screamed “OPEN SESAME!” And opened it by slammin it against my desk😂😂
Don't do the one with the brick, I did it once and the top broke off causing pieces of glass to fall into my beer.. Little pieces of glass inside your throat isn't very pleasant... :/
all these beers were twist offs and they looked like the caps werent even on tight. DISLIKE
My method is... FLOOR
*Smash the bottle into the floor*
Jacob
Worked for me
why remove the lid from the bottle when you can remove the bottle from the lid
Another!
Dr. Riq so smart!
And drink like dog?
Netflix: are you still w-
For anyone who doesn't know, *'Straya* just means *Australia*. So do these ways only work in Australia? XD
*EDIT:* They changed the title of the video so my comment is no longer relevant =/
you're very early this time ;P
Emily Sullivan I certainly am :)
did my comment just delete lol what just happened I don't see it anymore xD
oh wait it's back nvm xD
It's not slang, it's the way our accents are sometimes! But yeah, you can only open like this in Straya!
Love how it says "common shed" instead of just "shed" Like are there some rare sheds that I've never heard about before? 😧😂
No it's called a common shed because like every body has a shed in their backyard so it's really rare for someone not to have a shed. That's why Australians call it a common shed. (I'm Australian btw)
+xxALEXxx Potato ohh ok haha
+Emily Sullivan yeah Australia is really weird 😂😂😂
There are also shiny sheds ...
+xxALEXxx Potato that's cool
Watching this as a German, I must say it is causing lots of mental pain
0:20 pause the video here and you can tell the bottle was already open with the trash can
There's literally no way that would be possible otherwise. It was WAY too easy
Hahaha ur right!!!
A brick is desperate, but a bill isn't?
@MythMethuselah If u are doin it like him yes. He smashes it against the brick while you can just simply make use of the leverage effect.
How 'bout just twisting the bloody cap mate?
Pretty sure that dont work since it's a glass bottle but I never drank beer I'm just watching this xd
Shameer Malik no, a lot of the beers they used in the vid were twist offs
@@thatboiryqn interesting
you cant open it by twisting lol, wtf
Fl05k8r you can clearly see the ridges on the neck. It’s a twist off
Door frames to loosen the cap...and scissors to finish the job, without spilling a drop!
Thanks a lot...made my day!
You got me lmao for using a paper money to open the twist off bottle with a different cap😂😌
will not work in any other country.......
no
not even a simple brick, it HAS to be an Australian brick
+CinnamonWafflez LMFAO dafuq
Let's be real, if we did any of these, our hands would be a bloody mess.
Curtis A.R i did and now my hands got blood on it thanks to this video
i did and my finger is bleeding
Key works with some effort
Cut my thumb open bc of the key one
so true... I cut my fingers in 4 places.
So many ppl didnt get the humor on that video, personally as a man I loved it
When you try to open beer with another beer. Uno reverse card
scissors just saved the day for me👏🏼 thank you !!!
We literally just use a bottle opener like normal people
no we don't.
That is very true, plus these are all twist caps
It's just buzz feed needed views
no man I'm from australia and I was at a party where a guy did it with a chainsaw. know another guy who does it with his teeth. I myself have opened it with a brick
no man I'm from australia and I was at a party where a guy did it with a chainsaw. know another guy who does it with his teeth. I myself have opened it with a brick
Effin thanks 😂 was looking allover for an opener then realized I have my keys when I saw this video
You are the GOAT for this I been holding a beer for like a hr till I seen this
most of these look kinda dangerous if you already had some beers or if you clumsy
+Janaina110 lol
Once you've had a few beers opening the bottle becomes way more creative and dangerous ahaha I love my country (Australia)
+Jason Smith yep
maybe not as dangerous as a intergrated bottle opener on a Galil AR assault rifle
Plot twist (no pun intended) those are all twist offs
Use a key or coin to push up the edges, going round the whole lid until you're easily able to just twist it, and then use the brick wall method but a little gentler and it'll pop right off!
That’s was quality 🙇♂️😂 very well done !
no ones gonna talk about how they say to open a beer with a garbage bin
The Fiver was pretty cool! I'll have to try that one.
That was amazing
0:49 any dad that sees this will definitely do it at the next cook out
I ended up opening the beer with my desk with the right angle, thanks lol
some of these bottles are screw tops.....
I was in my car so desperate trying to open un jarrito (being the soda kind) with a spoon then I gave up and started using the seatbelt 😂😂😂 best decision I've made so far 😂😂😂
I'm in my work van (UPS driver) trying to do the same thing with a lime Jarrito rn
Thanks. I’ve been in my car trying to use whatever I could find and then I read your comment.
Here I am in my car looking for my nearest options! Definitely trying this now.
Didn't work. Had to instead open the car door and use the square metal piece where the door latches. Winning!
@420 I'm sorry it didn't work for you I think it depends how you try to open it, glad you found another way though
I tried the scissors one, all I can say is that they sure make it look easy...and yes it did work
The door frame one works 💯%
Thanks, we just used a pair of tongs to open up our Coca Cola bottles. Ordered Mexican coke, comes in a glass bottle but I don’t drink alcohol so I don’t have any bottle openers lol
so basically something with an edge
Loved every part of this video 😂
Ok, I knew this was Australian when the captions had 'before the barbie"
😂😂
I tries the 20 cent one and hurt my thumb then I pinned my jarritos on a flat metal edge then slammed my hand on it and I felt this beautiful satisfaction of a pop fizzle and steam thing and felt,, wow I didn't even need that video!
i just opened my Jarritos with a door lmao
So the year is 2020. I’m quarantining and covid -19 had me trapped in the house 24/7. I order Uber eats and only can choose from bottled drinks. GLASS BOTTLES. Every store I enter requires a mask and treats you like a criminal if you don’t have one , so I’m not trying to take a trip for a bottle opener. His video helped me tremendously looool. I saw the door part and was like “ooh I can do that “ 😂😂😂
i tried the key one and jus cut my finger 😂😂 this vid buttt
That door frame maneuver is ingenious
the door frame one worked PERFECTLY
i always have a brick on me for these occasions ...
One time I had one of those bottle cokes at school and I forgot that it's fricken impossible to open without a bottle opener.
After passing it around the entire lunch room and having a bunch of guys competing to "prove their worth" and trying to open it, this teacher came around and legit just took their house key and opened it in five seconds.
OMG that teacher was a pro
Now I have 31 teeth,a broken coin and two broken beer bottles
Thank you for helping me get creative and open my Jarrito 😋
I tried these. Lost a finger. Beer didn't open. Now what?
Or you could twist them off but whatever floats your boat buzzfeed
the door frame one worked 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I'm not even of age and I'm still watching this
Eyelash curlers saved the day when none of the methods I chose from this video worked 😅
OH MY GOSH YOUR COMMENT SAVED MY LIFE because I’m overseas without alot of things in the video and it’s my first time having to open a beer bottle I hecking love you
the door one worked the best
even though i lost like a quarter of my drink
1/4
The milkman’s Cartin actually worked lmaoo
The door frame works lmfao 🤣🤣🤣
Or the best way... On a drop bear's teeth
Next:How to drink water in different regions of the world
I love that this is Aussie made 😂
I just throw it on the floor and thats it😂
A lot of these tricks don't work with "actual" beers. Most of the beers in the video have twist off bottle caps, so the cap isn't as tight to the bottle as with a normal beer. And yeah, I don't think beers should have twist off caps.
Thank you🙏
I've lived in Australia my whole life and I've never heard anyone say 'straya
Scissors worked for me! Keys were no bueno! This has been sooooo helpful!
oh, yeah. Lighter didn't work for me either. But scissors.... YES!
A wheelie bin??? I’m keeping that in my back pocket ahah
I literally skinned my finger trying to open one. It hurts.
Same here. Friggin bleeding
Or you know just open a beer like 99% of the world does.
Nah, this is Australia, the place where every living thing wants to kill you. We do things differently over here.
+Yaxorus the Yak my uncles in mexico use their teeth. indeed different
+Yaxorus the Yak haha yep it's dangerous here ain't in
+Yaxorus the Yak It's even worse on my planet, WAY worse.
Opening a beer cap is a literal death sentence.
the door frame one worked for me! thank you! bottoms up
I wouldn't do a random tree because there are trees in Australia that can kill you...like I'm not even joking. There are trees with toxins, barbs, and stinging leaves that could kill you.
That face makes me wet🌚
Alex Luna good
lol where are you from?
Georgie May Maryland, USA why?
Just wondering, I find it funny when people from other countries think Australia's like a death trap haha
you could just twist
No
+Alex Luna All, or almost all, of the bottles in the video were twist offs.
CaseAgainstFaith1 IK. i mean look at the thumbnail
xD
The door frame one worked! Hubs just did this to a beer 😎🍻
Just opened my glass bottled rootbeer😋😎
80% of those beers were already opened + 90% of this beers were twist-offs xD. Jokes on you guys
This just legit saved me from a parched adult beverage-less evening.
Me now: 🍺👍🤪 THANKS!!
I eventually got my beer open using a screw driver but this video made it look way easier than it is without heaps of practise 😄
Definitely would've never thought of that door trick, worked like a charm
This video was a godsend, used a door frame, thanks much!
