silver drop would be nice because you can get a garenteed silver every 45 days, while the other ones can be more useful when uses, you most likely wont be using them because the time you need them is very specific
As someone else already mentioned (unless things have changed in my time away from the game) marble tile floors are no more beautiful than any other stone tile type. As for feedback on upcoming decisions: 1) It seems like it's only right for Redhawk to be Steak's heir; not only is she surely Steak's next of kin, but she would also be the most competent trader and diplomat to the Empire should the worst befall Steak. 2) As for knight permits, it seems that the transport shuttle provides the most immediate and long-term utility, as it really opens up the global map for further exploration and could make some otherwise awkward quests much more convenient. The only other option I would consider here are the strikes, which, while they may make a huge difference in a pinch, are probably unnecessary considering the excellent tactical engagement Pete has displayed in the series so far. That, as well as the fact that the strike is made a little redundant by the fact that one can always build more mortars. Resource drops seem entirely unnecessary at this point in the campaign, and the only benefit that I can think of for the labourer team right now would be to complete the monument for the quest currently assigned to the Steakhouse (though on second thought, perhaps from a plot perspective this may actually be worth considering...) Anyhow, I'm loving the series, and look forward to seeing the next upload!

That tofu art is 👌👌👌 Also I enjoy how much care you put into telling the story unfolding in front of our eyes, you have a lot of creativity as well Pete 😀
The impact of stone flooring on the room beauty rating doesn't change based on the type of stone used (marble in this case). However it _does_ matter for walls. So it would be better to use the marble for walls rather than flooring.
Nice, nice finally caught up even tho i got a bit sad this wasnt finished yet, none the less another series to wait as the episode come out, also it was your ice sheet series that intoduced me to Rimworld so thanks for that!!!!
Redhawk would have made sense as an heir, but you're already sending her down her own royal path, so Edmo is a good pick being the other earliest colonist
Wow, just WOW. Yeah, ok this settles it. Tofu is on a whole other level. This might be some of the best artwork I've ever seen in my life. Shit, well-done Tofu.
With each episode i see you make me want to play this game more and more 😅 (never tried it and i feel a bit overwhelmed by how much there is in this game). Quality entertainment !!
Another great episode. I would be in favor of Redhawk being the heir to Steak's title. As his wife it makes sense, and you already started to gain her honor. Incredible fan art once again by Tofu as well. The attention to detail is on point, and the atmosphere is exquisite.
You can have the dining room and the throne room as the same room! They will incur bonuses but only from the most recent use. So colonists would have "very impressive dining room" more often than "very impressive throne room" but I believe they can have both at once
He did have a 1x2 table in there but then moved it out. I think Pete is settling in for more of the role play aspect especially with Tofu creating fanart. While he could minmax the base to heck and back, I personally prefer that he takes his time and enjoys it so the series does not burn out.
Redhawk makes sense as the heir, but Edmo as one would be a true badass bro move. Steak is a cool enough dude to honour him where it's due even despite love triangle shenanigans. Also Synadenos looking freaking amazing there.
Seems we think alike , do you also run with "there are no useless prisoners if they have working organs" motto too? (Goes to comms console - Calls exotic goods traders) You guys might wanna hang around up there for a little...
I love how in you put all the pawns in one row for the ceremony and Agatha, instead of Gracefully walking through the middle for this ceremony, she instead presses herself between the wall and Synadenos and Edmo, like: "Excuse me, pardon, sorry, need a bit of space here. Thank you!"
Seems like either the Shuttle or the Aerial strike would be the most useful choice. I like the idea of the Shuttle because it would make it easier to complete more outside base missions. I trust Pete will make a wise choice in any regard. I wouldn't think 500 silver every 45 days would be a bad choice either. Still excited every time I see an episode drop. Thanks!
Narrative idea for toe loss: Edie getting hungrier and hungrier after their last meal, took parts of the lamp's covering down, and fashioned it into a makeshift punching dagger (mimicking Edmo's claws). Once the fighting started she was quickly beaten onto the ground, but before she was taken out she smacked her metal spike in between the boot plating, hitting Jake in the middle of his foot. The loss of the toe came as the removal of the metal shard required an amputation.
i've been bing watching this series. Very interesting and even bought the game myself now. Please keep us updated about the whereabouts of Sir Steak and his colony friends and foes. @Tofu: please keep amazing us with your fine and great looking art! it really does justice to the content created here.
@@General12th it sounds like their place is watched over by an amphibious, if shrouded in ambiguity, deity whom greets his people with a simple but friendly, "Hello."
Pete, please move the wind turbines down by one tile (south). You need to leave a gap of one tile between the wall and the wind turbine, so that your pawns are able to reach the hydroponics basins on the sides easly. With your current setup, your pawns need to circle around the turbines all the time to reach the sides.
3:55 - I suspect that the table in the crafting room is the reason why the party took place there. All tables in Rimworld have a gathering spot button that is automatically toggled on by default. Any time a party event is generated, it randomly picks from any room with a table (or other items like the fireplace) with the gathering spot button toggled on. If you want to make sure this doesn't happen, make sure to toggle off gathering spot on all tables in rooms you don't want any kind of social interactions to take place in. This won't stop pawns from eating at that table if it happens to be the closest to them, however, but it should cut down on the awkward party locations. So yeah, here's the explanation for all of you who didn't know about that in the first place.
YAY Pete!!! Look at how much your channel has grown! Great video as always! I think either the transport or aerodrone strike is best, steel/silver is nice but you can also trade for it with your ample flake production, not to mention much needed components and adv. components if you get the transport. (Need to check on this but you could also try and use the transport for escaping bad situations like the total destruction of the home settlement.)
either Redhawk or Edmo should be the heir just in case. Redhawk has been a devoted medic and is Steak's wife, but Edmo has been really pulling his weight, even if I feel like he'd be a bit of a whiner about things.
Edmo is my pick to be Steaks heir, lets see if Edmo will try to organise an "accident" for steak to take the throne. Going for the Aerodrone Strike for the new Permit
And we’re back! Been really excited to see steak achieve knighthood Also! I think edmo should be steak’s heir. He has consistently been super badass and despite his constant horniness I think he really deserves that recognition
But isn´t it just a one-way-ride? I´d think a fighter-unit would be helpful to save the colonists wounds and missing limbs or even defend the base when everyone´s off on an outside-mission.
I really love the Transport Shuttle, I used it a lot as a form of mining rig sending some miners to mine a scanned chunk and then the noble to shuttle them back home with the Empiremobile!
I believe that although nice to have, most of the permit options aren't entirely necessary except for one. Even with a ground penetrating radar, steel will be your biggest bottleneck and an extra 250 on command is going to be extremely useful.
You really don't want to use someone who's actually good at melee to subdue prisoners. Even with a lousy weapon he has far too much chance of just murdering people by accident, and a hand talon is actually a pretty good weapon, which is why he uses it in favor of the club. Also, they're partying in the workshop because you forgot to put down a party spot. That big new common room would be the reasonable choice. Edie would complain less if you gave her some clothes; she isn't a nudist and making prisoners at least slightly less miserable makes them a lot easier to manage. Tofu's artwork is always SO AMAZING. I love the attention to detail! The weirdly long and narrow throne room, Edmo leaning on the harp with his joywire in, Redhawk looking on in pride, Synadenos in some ludicrous imperial costume... just perfect! Given that you're starting to develop Redhawk as an independent title holder, there isn't really any reason for her to be Steak's heir. I don't know which of the other colonists would make decent nobles though.
For Steak's permit, I recommend aerodrone strike, and upgrade to salvo when you can. They both have some delay, but the strike is like having a free triple-rocket launcher and the salvo is nearer to a doomsday rocket in damage potential. With the royalty DLC, that's going to really save you from the big raids at ship launching time.

Always worth wait no matter how much I want an episode everyday!
Redhawk as the most adept in politics and bartering makes the most sense to me, and if there was a time where there would be a need for the heir, i feel like steak’s widow taking the charge would be really cool to see
I advise holding on to those permits in case you need re-enforcements for any events that may be too much to handle with your current resources.
Personally I would go with -suicide- drone bombardments and shuttle (due to utility value)
I would have take the labourer gang and would let them build the monument
@@Jfk2Mr Iusually take the Shuttle in case of spontanious evacuations or getting a big caravan back quickly.
The labourer gang is usually useless, sadly. So, squads and Shuttle it is.
4:10 The table in the workshop is a gathering spot, select it and forbid it from being one and they'll party in the common
room. Great episode! Keep on being awesome!
Finally caught up with the series! Nice!
That tofu art is 👌👌👌
Also I enjoy how much care you put into telling the story unfolding in front of our eyes, you have a lot of creativity as well Pete 😀
Rimworld episode on the same day as Walkies?
Truly I've been blessed.
Who's walkie?
@@danmiltenberger5616
Walkies is a series SimpleFlips does where he plays Super Mario Maker 2 without the run button.
The impact of stone flooring on the room beauty rating doesn't change based on the type of stone used (marble in this case). However it _does_ matter for walls. So it would be better to use the marble for walls rather than flooring.
This is an excellent point.
Tofu's artwork always hits me in the feels. Such a good addition to the series!
Love this series and the ice sheet series! I always look forward to these uploads! :)
Nice, nice finally caught up even tho i got a bit sad this wasnt finished yet, none the less another series to wait as the episode come out, also it was your ice sheet series that intoduced me to Rimworld so thanks for that!!!!
Finally i was getting worried for a second^^
Love you Pete
Redhawk would have made sense as an heir, but you're already sending her down her own royal path, so Edmo is a good pick being the other earliest colonist
This could cause new "hunt accidents" if you know what I mean ;-)
Holy moly, that piece Tofu did is amazing!
Pete, select orbital bombardment as your permit, it is so useful against sieges
Wow, just WOW. Yeah, ok this settles it. Tofu is on a whole other level. This might be some of the best artwork I've ever seen in my life. Shit, well-done Tofu.
F for Jake's toe, great episode as always Pete! And Tofu's art is amazing! Thank you both :)
With each episode i see you make me want to play this game more and more 😅 (never tried it and i feel a bit overwhelmed by how much there is in this game). Quality entertainment !!
Commenting for the algorithm :D
Replying for the algorithm
Me too!
Incense and prayers to the Machine Spirit.
yep!
The aerodrone strike seems like the best option especially against mech clusters and sieges
Another great episode. I would be in favor of Redhawk being the heir to Steak's title. As his wife it makes sense, and you already started to gain her honor.
Incredible fan art once again by Tofu as well. The attention to detail is on point, and the atmosphere is exquisite.
20:00 Amazing artwork.
Another amazing episode and artwork. I really like how the imperial is portrayed.
Great episode, and great art, Tofu!
oh my god tofu's art this week was amazing
Oh boy I’ve been waiting for this
I think transport shuttle is the way to go! It opens up lots of new possibilities for the colony
Very fancy artwork indeed from Tofu.
How you gonna let four lungs bleed out in the killbox when you're about to have a pawn with Asthma?
Seems we think alike , do you also run with "there are no useless prisoners if they have working organs" motto too?
(Goes to comms console - Calls exotic goods traders)
You guys might wanna hang around up there for a little...
I was waiting for this episode since the last episode of Mutant year zero :D.. Love the current series on your channel.
I love how in you put all the pawns in one row for the ceremony and Agatha, instead of Gracefully walking through the middle for this ceremony, she instead presses herself between the wall and Synadenos and Edmo, like: "Excuse me, pardon, sorry, need a bit of space here. Thank you!"
Another masterwork from Tofu!
Thanks!
Thanks for another episode. I like that you've adopted the artist Tofu, creating mutually beneficial relationship.
That should be canon in my opinion, nice idea
i've been bing watching this series. Very interesting and even bought the game myself now. Please keep us updated about the whereabouts of Sir Steak and his colony friends and foes.
@Tofu: please keep amazing us with your fine and great looking art! it really does justice to the content created here.
We must be playing completely different games, because my prisons look more like the hospital... with more... ahem... storage for... things...
I hope your colonists have... learned... a lot. They must be very... _ahem_ friendly.
@@General12th it sounds like their place is watched over by an amphibious, if shrouded in ambiguity, deity whom greets his people with a simple but friendly, "Hello."
@@General12th I see some fellow AA followers around here :)
Great episode Pete! I reckon Edmo should be the heir to the throne, it'd create an interesting dynamic if the worst ever happened to Steak
Oh my god, a new episode! I've been checking your channel for four days straight. Well, time to make some tea to go with this :D
Hello Pete! You need to select Edmo, then press "B" and click the prisoner for Edmo to use his club instead of the power claw.
Not just to take the throne, but also to get Redhawk in the long term
@@LordofGold Edmos going for the long game play
Get the steel drop!
You can never have enough steel!
I think the silver drops would be cool! You can easily get more sterile tile when you need it :) Also, the art looks amazing! Great job, Tofu.
And we’re back! Been really excited to see steak achieve knighthood
Also! I think edmo should be steak’s heir. He has consistently been super badass and despite his constant horniness I think he really deserves that recognition
I’m not sure what bonus would be the best but drone strike sounds epic and cool
me skipping to the end of the video not to get spoilers but to see tofu"s art
Edmo, he's added so much flavour to this series xD
Great work tofu!
The transport shuttle is amazing. Makes things outside the base much easier.
