End of Year Swell Kicks Off at La Jolla Reefs - Day 1 - SLAW Sessions - 12-27-2023

The new incoming swell was well forecasted and hyped to be one of the best in years. On the morning of December 27th, 2023 the swell started to fill in at one of the La Jolla barreling reefs. The waves were offshore and ranging from 6-8 foot faces. All the local chargers and barrel riders were out scoring some drainers. Some of the surfers catching the best waves were Max Beach, Crusoe Frapwell, Mick Davey, Tosh Tudor, Owen Miller, Alyssa Spencer, Hagan Johnson, Niko Launais, and George Heatherington,
