It pulls straight out. I used a needle nose pliers rather than removing all the other bulbs and it came out very easily. Its harder to get it back in because there are raised lines on the black plastic parking light holder that have to line up with slots in the receiving area. Once you get those lined up, it pushes back in easily. A torch is helpful to see what you are doing while lining it up.
Thanks for naming the bulbs. Excellent video, well done. If I were to replace all these bulbs with"BMW Canbus" supported LED bulbs it will just be plug and play without coding? Also will MOT be a problem? Many thanks if you could answer my questions. tc.
Thanks Irshad! My experience with LED bulbs is even the canbus compliant ones can still be problematic. Plus depending on the quality they can fail and flicker quite often. MOT would only be a problem for headlight bulbs (not sure about fogs) as LED bulbs are currently not allowed.
Hi pal what lights are they ? Mine are orange and looking to get them white make them look more up to date is it just plug and play to do that or not ? Is that what you have done here ?
Hi Jake, the bulbs are just standard Neolux so I haven’t actually changed anything. Perhaps someone has fitted lower output bulbs at some point on your car.
@@jitenchavda2029 bonjour j’aimerais changer mais halogène par des led aussi mais je ne cest pas quel prendre pour ne pas avoir de code erreur avez vous trouver des led sans code erreur et si oui avez vous la référence ?
@@theodallet7096 don’t know French but I think you’re talking about the error codes. Yes my car comes up with an error code but the lights still work perfectly
Been looking for a video like this (Simple and straightforward) even mentioning the type of bulbs to be used. Thank you, much appreciated 🙏
So glad to help and thank you very much for the feedback 👍
This is the most detailed video I’ve ever seen. Thank you! Please do more videos.

Brilliant video mate 👌🏿
Video was a lifesaver 🙏🏽
Glad to help!
It’s ridiculous how hard they make that bulb to clip back in. Thanks for the video!
Good idea about the plastic tool to refit, impossible to do without if you have large sized hands. Thanks for the tip 👍
3 years old but bang on. Super helpful. Many thanks.
Great stuff!!! Could you please tell me what is the blue key you used to open the panel below near the wheel ? That d be great! Thanks!
Search online for “Bojo Tools” 🙂
Hi, if I change any of them bulbs would I need to get them coded to the car or is it just as simple as plug and play.
Plug and play on this car Sameer!
Thanks for the video , does the parking light holder have to be twisted to remove from the headlight or does it just pull out ? Thank you

Much appreciated 👊🏾
I don't BMW could of made such a simple procedure more of a ball ache.
Hey dude, isnt it weird that low beam and high beam are the same?
Not really because it has more to do with how the beam is projected, it may be uncommon but there are plenty of cars like it.
Parking light failure?
Wow what a very detailed video, thank you so much! Will LED replacements of these bulbs work?
Glad to help, high quality LED bulbs are fine, have to get “canbus error free” ones.
@@IAMASPANNER yep, I did some research and changed them all to LED bulbs. Wouldn’t have been able to do it myself without this video! Thanks!

Hi!
We tried doing the same exact steps but somehow broke the metal Bars that clip it in 🥲 any idea how this can be fixed? Thanks
Hi Vina,
Which metal bars do you mean?
@@IAMASPANNER I think she's referring to the 2 prongs on the bulb
Thank YOU !
Thanks for the video. very helpful info.
Very glad to help 👍
Once you installed these new bulbs did any cause coding error message?
No as they’re standard bulbs they didn’t cause any error codes.
