- Secret tip to resetting the tire pressure indicator light on your Toyota Highlander. Often times people check all four tires the air is correct and they still wonder why they’re low tire indicator light will not go off. Many times people forget the spare tire and on most vehicles there is a pressure indicator valve on that tire as well. Typically once all five tires are check and the pressure is correct the low pressure indicator light will go off. What he wants to tell us is ... there's a sensor in the spare tire. That's it, great help dude
Your welcome
Rav 4 also have sensor on spare. Some Lexus have reset button and sensor on spare.
Why is it so dam hard to just say where and show the actual location of the switch ?
There is no switch on mine it’s a series of steps using the odometer button and ignition button

Why make a video, if you aren’t going to show it. Complete waste of time to your audience.
@@Zeeangelofdeath this short video links back to the full video.
You save me a trip to the dealer, thank you it worked
You’re welcome, thank you for taking the time to comment
Even so. Those sensors are not important what so ever. Even mechanics ignore them lol.
If there's too much air it will come on too. Mine are 32psi and these tire places always put like 45psi in when they change them smh.
That’s a good question I’ve never had that happen so I don’t know
Did the exact same thing to me, 2 days ago....🤦🏻♂️
These people aren’t telling you you need a tool to train the tires sensor after doing the reset procedure if the lights coming on you most likely have a bad sensor they’re not that expensive 🤷🏻♂️
99% of the time you do not need any additional tools. Now if the light is coming on and your tires are up to pressure then yes that’s a different story this video is specifically about tire is going flat or losing air. Either way I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Discount tire company wants $60.00 per Indicator 😳
@@mrtv777 Yes some are more expensive than others so I’m not surprised.
I tried it, didn't work (2012 Camry)
Apparently there's a reset button behind the glove compartment door, going to try it. If that doesn't work then it's simply a bad sensor
Good luck
Al long as the outside temp pass 65, my Highlander light will go off. Otherwise it is flashing. So it is flashing in the winter but off in summer. It is so annoying.
That is so strange.
@@SeeTheWoodTurn-cf8rv air pressure changes with temperature. Some people run gas in the tires so it doesn't change pressure.
Batteries in the sensors 🤷🏼🤷🏼
Electric tape, just cut off a small price and cover light 😉
Lol yup that will work
It drains the battery because the light is left on
Ok so I changed all 4 tyres and this won’t even go after performing a reset through the dash. Am I missing a step?
Did you check the spare tire?
Doesn’t include a spare on my Lexus UX
@@daktadre interesting
Jst say what you're tryiing to sday .. What , use the spare tire somehow ?
Check out the full video on my RUclips channel, Thanks for commenting
Awesome, thanks Shane!

Can’t hear your video?? No sound
What if I don’t have a spare
Then it’s most likely one of the tires on your car
I’m assuming the spare tire sensor is no longer by the car. So the light is on. I bought a 2011 sienna there is no spare tire, but the other 4 tires have air. The light is on.
@@ehsanull In my case the spare tire is still with the car. Thanks for commenting
What do I do for my toyota corolla 2013
Unfortunately I have not had to do that on a Toyota Corolla so I apologize but I cannot help with that particular car. I’m sure there’s a video out there on it somewhere.
Ya NO.
yes, lol
wtf
Well??
you talk too much just show us
Worst video
Thank you for taking the time to comment.
F*ck I never thought of that! So what your saying is, I need to drop my spare and make sure it matches the 4 mounted tires? Yikes! 🛞
You should be able to do it without removing the spare
that don't sound right
@@davematthews4228 I definitely had to drop my spare. But, it definitely was my spare that was under inflated. 🛞
