Ultra Flo's and Daisies! (and an electronic distributor because my magneto died) The last muffler from the shootout video to be road tested. It performs well but its kind of a bland sound to me, what do you think?

If you haven't already, you should check out the series on Hemmings channel called The Motor Underground : Chinatown Confidential. It's an awesome look at that era and there's lots of talk about Al's and the cars that came out of that shop.
They sound nice but I'm still down with the Porters ! I found out they make a truck muffler that's 3" IN 3" CORE 3" out it's a bit longer and thicker 5" diameter a bit pricey 195.00 that's also direct so you can probably find them a bit cheaper. Nice vids man you saved me some money and time doing these cause if it ain't sounding right I'd cut them off lol.
Sounds amazing 🔥, in your opinion, what muffler sounds more sporty? Clean sound of V8, I want a good sound but not too loud and no drone. Watching your videos, this muffler and the shorty porter are my options, but nothing compares to hearing them in person. Thanks for your videos.
@@emilianozapata8972 This muffler would be a good choice. Also, the magnaflow series would fit that bill. Borla also makes sportier sounding mufflers that are very nicely made, but are definitely on the pricier side. You want a straight through muffler that has a decent size shell. The more volume the shell has the more mellow the tone.
You nailed it bro nice video! Hey man, my first car was a 57 hardtop. I wanted to 55 since I was 13. My dad talk to me in the 57 had a tired 65 vett motor with M 21 drove it for a year pulled the motor and trans out sold it for 1400$bucks paid 1200$went 30 years before ever got a 55. Look at your car makes me wish I had the 57 still my dad was right they do have better lines
the disc brakes are GM Metrics, like off a '79 and up Malibu, front and rear, and the master is a disc/disc 1" bore like off a late 60s early 70s Vette.

I really like Dynomax mufflers
I actually liked those! Nice sound. Sounds great idling. 👍
I think they're the best all rounder. Sound good outside under acceleration & not too loud inside the car. Cheers 👍🏻
You could put cheap ricer fart cans on it,and I'd still like it.
I should try that.
Love your videos you may not know it but your videos are helping me create my ultimate exhaust. Could you do a X pipe vs H pipe vs true duals video?
@@trippieredd2899 Thanks I appreciate your comment. An H vs X is definitely in the future.
Sounds great give spintech 9000 a try

@@TheVegasbud I hear you. The porters will be what I run on this car mainly. They sound so good, you'll love them.

Ueah not a fan of these mufflers. Not deep enough for me.
Not my favorite either, but I have to admit they are much easier on the ears from inside the vehicle.
