I know this video is 3 years old, pero I just found your channel out of necessity. Everybody that works for/with me speaks only Spanish and it’s caused me to have to rapidly learn the language. I’m doing well and I enjoy conversing with everybody in Spanish. But I have trouble keeping up with them when they speak full speed. I’ve rewatched your video on conjugations about 15 times now and still have to watch it more before I get it. Also, they DO make fun of me when I try to speak Spanish and that always kills my confidence. Still trying though. Thank you for your work with this channel, I really appreciate it and I will be checking out your website also. New subscriber here!

Thanks man, I appreciate that! My background is very similar to yours. But I agree. It's something our parents and we took for granted. Them, in not teaching it to us and making it easy for us. Us, because I know when my grandma was talking to me in Spanish I would ask why she wasn't speaking English lol. But it's never too late to learn!
Shit i cant relate, cuz similar to yall im Latino but i grew up in DR/PR not USA, so i knew that shit since da go... all i can say is dont rely on one source to learn and go all in, thats how i learn english in my teen years, determination

I've been actively learning español for 10 months,everything from duolingo to RUclips instructors,listening only to the Mexican radio station in my car,watching shows in Spanish with Spanish subtitles, talking to myself like a whacko 😆 talking to my dogs,trying out my skills on my waiters at the Mexican restaurant by my house 😆, they're very patient,and even learned to scuba dive and spent 3 weeks in the Yucatan getting certified. I've meet lots of new friends and had amazing adventures on my immersion expedition. Keep up the good work my friend. Saludos!

I appreciate your comments about making mistakes, and how native speakers perceive it. I am my own worst critic and often find myself not using any Spanish because it’s not perfect.
Man. Colombians have such beautiful Spanish. I love to hear it, and hear the music. Wonderful kind people too. Just beautiful Spanish, too bad your buddy didn't learn or understand the Colombian dialect.

Bro I'm watching all the videos one after another from the first to the latest I just found you today and by your teaching methods I'm hooked bro cause the way you teach is awesome plus I'm from the caribbean and when it comes to how caribbean English sounds different to American English I understand how caribbean Spanish spanish sounds different to Mexican or spanish from spain
I want to learn espenol to reduce/eliminate a language barrier at work. Not all of my coworkers speak English and most who do only as a second language.

The Duolingo app is cool I am on day 107 without missing my 20 minute daily goal. The Duolingo website has some features not available in the app. Like a word list, stories in Spanish, and Spanish Podcast.
A second app that is good for learning vocabulary is Nemo languages. Nemo also makes and app called tiny cards Tiny Cards. Combine Nemo and Tiny cards with Duolingo daily and your language learning will soar. Soy James de Texas on Duolingo.

What do you guys think of doing a review video that focuses on what level (A1 through B2) would this movie score?
How about a video list of great Spanish movies to watch AND great movies to watch in Spanish?
Because the last movie list that came up on the RUclips search was from 2017.
I would love another video on the breakdown of the Spanish in that movie, “Pan’s Labyrinth”, because it would allow for me to know not only what is being said but why that word was chosen, also what up-to-date words that would be more common in today’s Spanish language.
I believe you have already did a video on the most neutral Spanish dialect/accent, but I heard the Spanish from Guatemala and Mexico was deemed the most EASIEST for native English speakers to learn. I would love your opinion on this. Thanks again!🙏

I realize this is an old video and I am a new subscriber so you probably will not see this comment. I very recently committed to learning spanish. I am searching for a content creator that starts at step one. I am hoping to find a content creator that does that, any suggestions?? I also have a ask/suggestion for you which is bold since I have only watched 4 of your videos. Please number each episode so us newbee's can search your channel for "Episode 99" for example. You would need to decide how you want to label each episode and continue with it letter by letter with the number tell the end of time but that would be extreamly helpful. Sorry, I have been in the IT field for too long. LOL But seriously, We could follow along in the order you intended to post. Keep up the great job and thank you
This is a very good podcast, as spanish is NOT his mother tongue, even though he is Latino. The other one I enjoy is 'Spring Spanish--Learn in Chunks' But i would recommend buying a book. You can take it with you. Maria Madrigal's book helped me a lot when just starting.
