    I have a cool idea for everyone. After you watch this video go get some Spanish food and practice what you just saw today. I recently went out to a Spanish restaurant for my sister’s birthday and it was five of us. I ordered my food in Spanish and everyone was impressed. My confidence in ordering has gone up and it’s starting to make more sense how the language is spoken.

      I just wish my parents were still alive, I want to go to our favorite Cuban Restaurant now. But it’s too late 😢. Mom is still alive but doesn’t completely remember me. I used to take her out and about but she’s too far gone and she would get scared. I went to the restaurant with my parents several times. Once I ordered Cuban coffee even though I don’t normally drink coffee. It was so delicious I ordered another. I spent the rest of the day very sick. But I just can’t take that much caffeine so not the fault of the restaurant.

      @moneylover674 3 года назад +10

      @@paradiseentertainment166 when he says “te puedo enseñar” it mean i can teach you, but if he had said yo puedo enseñar it just mean i can teach, but it doesn’t have a specific subject that is being taught. I don’t know exactly how to explain it, but it gives a subject that you do something to. for example, lo siento, pero estoy muy ocupado y no te puedo ayudar. that means sorry, but i am very busy and i can’t help you, but if i said no yo puedo ayudar, it would just mean i cannot help, and while that does make sense when given context, it doesn’t have a specific subject that is being spoken to, it’s just a general statement, so when you put le and te infront of a series of verbs it give it addresses a subject rather than being a general statement. I don’t know if this helps any, but these are called indirect object pronouns so if you look more into that they can help you more than me

    Nice, I learned some things.I live in Mexico and its really common to say "quiero" when ordering at restaurants. It felt uncomfortable for me, but everyone said it's fine and it's not rude. In Mexico you always have to ask for the check at a restaurant, the waiter won't just bring it.. I did make the mistake of using, "me das", and my teacher told me that it's rude to say that at restaurants, but not in other situations, like at the pharmacy, or at the carnecería...por ejemplo, "me das 2 kilos de pollo, por favor".

    We have a new transfer student who is unable to speak English. I have been studying Spanish every day for around a year and a half, so I tried to spark conversation because I know it can be tough being in a completely new area, she understood me greatly but I just couldn’t respond grammatically correct, I had the words but I was all jumbled. How can I fix this? When I do it slower by myself I get it perfectly, I can write it perfectly, but I just cannot communicate.

    Is the greeting "Que la que hay"?
    I know it's supposed to mean "what up" and there probably isn't a direct translation but what does it translate to?
    It just helps me remember it better if I know what the actual words are.
    Google say it means "than the one
    " which I know is wrong. I'm guessing it's something like "what there is"?
