I have started Pure Bubbles Retinol Cream 0.3% few weeks ago. I applied twice in a week, every 3days. I have very Hypersensitive Acne Prone skin. But this retinol cream went smooth on my skin. And Thank You Doc ❣️ I follow your advices, watch your videos, it helps me a lot to do better with my skin 🌸🌸
I am currently using Good Molecules Gentle Retinol Cream. And I love it! I am guilty of using Retinol on the sides of my nose and in the eyelid and even around the mouth. No dryness happening maybe because I have an oily skin. I might try the Good Molecules 1% Retinol Oil to up my retinol game. 😊
I'm currently using Juice Beauty for my retinol cream. But since I'm 40 I'm thinking of using products with Retinal but I intend to start using it once a week to get my skin acclimated.
BoJ retinal eye cream for the entire face is what im using. best for beginners. had no irritations whatsoever. formulation and texture is absolutely amazing.
I've been using the lowest concentration of retinol w/ 0.1%. After a few months of religiously applying it, I'm still having irritation, and my skin still does not get used to it. I have to use it 3-4x a week because applying it every day will make my skin so itchy and dry. I have found out about this sandwich method and it helps a lot. It really takes patience and time before you can actually see results. So far, I can see improvements in my skin texture and skin tone. It also helps to control my breakouts. I also stop buying eye creams because retinol is really good on the under-eye area.
QUESTION: Hi doc, sebum production beside my nose and under my lip is disturbing. How should I avoid this or at least minimize it? Since retinol application must be avoided on these areas?
I used Cerave; no idea what the dosage is. I used a generous amont, directly on my skin. And got burnt! I am now on Cicaplast and hyaluronic acid cream. How silly of me.
Cerave's Acne Resurfacing Retinol Serum for my acne prone skin. - Is it ok? Can it be used with niacinamide ? Sandwich method of niacinamide serum first --> retinol --> moisturiser
So sad to note that no mg. content of Retinol can be found on the container/bottle I am using😐 Sadder to note that on its specifications , no Retinol was mentioned , but only B3 which is niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. Can anyone please recommend a good brand ? Thanks😊
Skin test 1st with all those ingredients by each other back of ear skin by hairline/ or inner crease of elbow- just above, wait 24-48hrs to be safe!! Same with any Hair Colours!- darker colours can cause huge allergic reactions- I've seen person's hospitalised & almost die, due to dark hair colours - Skincare reactions also- pls pls Skin Test All. Ty
I think there will be no problem using these ingredients. Coz the ingredients that shouldn't be incorporated with retinol are acid ingredients like AHA or BHA, but better to do allergy/skin test beforehand to avoid irritation
Neogen bacuchiol 10% √. Retin A past.... Copper peptide then retin A or retinoids. Copper peptide is Brilliant under red light therapy for fast results. Niod is the best but most expensive, so their other brand the Ordinary copper peptide is almost as good/ fine before retinoids too then layer hialuronic acid, wait 20 mins if using Retin After application of above!! Any other like retinols, 5 mins wait just √
