- This is "Love won't wait for love" by the SOS Band from their 1980 LP "S.O.S." on Tabu Records.
This is one of my favorite SOS Band cuts and a pretty slept on one as well. Mary Davis delivers powerful vocals as usual while Maceo & Fred Wesley back her up on the brass section.

I just love to see the original artists comment on youtube. Digital media destroying record business? For lame new pop, maybe... But if it hadn't been for youtube so many people wouldn't have heard this stuff ever! When I hear some good music here, I go and buy the vinyl! And I know I'm far from the only one! Digital media keeps the good music alive!

Very underrated song overall, but then the whole album was basically hit after hit so I guess some songs were going to suffer in that way.

After some research I've noticed Sigidi was responsible for tracks accross most of SOS's LP's including the classic "Do it now" and you were behind other cuts like "Your love(it's the one for me)", "Love won't wait for love" & "Stepin' the stones". Is there anything I'm missing here from you?
The sos band could make some of up beat music for the highway or just a date night with your girl
