Occasionally there was a fight cause some dude looked at or hit on homies girl or some girl hit on homegirl's man lol. There may have been a fight or two but we all went home to do it all over again the next weekend :) I miss those days. What was your spot for breakfast after the club in your city? I´ll be turning 60 in may 2023. This music is with me wherever I am. Today even more than back then, still have them on vinyl. Happy to have grown up on this. The SOS Band has been king of cool in Funk and R&B to me ever since. Thanks to Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. They developed their music and took it to this level, it is kind of reduced, but so skilled, when in the late eighties electro funk came up.
