I have used the FTI gates during my last travel to the Philippines, actually experience was smooth, just one thing that the security on the other side was confused after looking at my boarding pass and passport that why its not stamped and i had to explain that i came via FTI gates and so on after explanation some verification with the officers they let me do security check from Business class security.
On the website it says that it is free. Haven't been able to register yet though. In February, this year I used similar FTI service at Singapore airport, even there it was a bit glitchy and I got stuck between the two gates for about 2-3 minutes, many people saw me and ran towards the normal immigration. For IGI it is a much-needed upgrade, cuz standing in long immigration ques is no fun.
can you please tell me what's the process of biometric ? It needs to be done before many days from flight date.. ? Or can be done at same time before few hours of flight.

I have done the registration and it was approved in the 2nd week of July. It was pretty smooth process for me and I didn't face any glitches. It took me about less than 1.5 weeks for the entire process.

I received OTP on my mobile instantly, but the OTP via email took longer. I waited almost 1 hour and 30 minutes for the email OTP and then successfully registered.

For biometrics it can be done on the same day at the airport as far I know

It doesnt, with this new programme, passports in India for Arrival & Departure will no longer be stamped
i got myself registered and no fees was charged. the whole process took just 3-4 days

yeah the process must be smooth and not many would be using it as of now. Some people have said that did not pay anything at the time of registration

This technology (FTI-TTP) should be free of charge. The one month waiting time for registration appears nonsensical!
