@@robfrancis2195 I'm from China, and I can tell you that is completely untrue, most Asian countries are very conservative. For example, sticking to traditional medicines and customs. As an American with a European ethnic background, the fact that east Asians bow to one another a lot has always fascinated me. I've always admired how much respect it shows toward the other person, and wished that we in the west would develop something similar. It just makes me feel good to see people showing each other respect like that. At the end of the video as the two gentlemen were bowing to their audience, I found myself bowing back to my screen to reciprocate 😄.
Tbh I also find colloquials like “have a good day” “Stay safe take care” very heartwarming as an East Asian; even tho most of the times it’s prob just out of cultural manners
@@maxchi6946 I totally agree. I'm from a section of the American south (please keep all jokes tasteful 😄), and those types of pleasantries are woven into our culture very tightly as well. The good thing about the ones of us that say these things to others is that we really mean it! That's not to say east Asian peoples don't mean it, quite the opposite in fact. I just like to give a socially battered people (mine 😊) credit for something good anytime I can.
Yes, stay humble because the state of a bodybuilder is very temporary. The body can't stay in that extreme state forever, particularly as one get into middle age.

@@michelrood2966 Good for you, my friend. I am older than you and all natural. My body weight has never been over 190 pounds (played football as a strong safety), I am leaner these days for optimal health reasons. At 170 pounds I bench pressed 430 pounds for 3 reps, squatted 560 pounds for 5 reps, deadlifts 720 easily without raps for reps, military pressed 250 pounds from the ground (easily for reps), dumbbell curl 80 pounds for 5 - 8 reps while sitting, dumbbell press 160 pounds with my feet up off the floor for reps, T-bar rows 350 pounds for 10 reos, pullups for 50 reps for 4 sets, and I can go on. Importantly, I never pushed myself beyond my comfortable "natural" limits to avoid injuries. However, even as a naturally strong person, my strength level decreased due to the aging process, but even at this age I am considered exceptionally strong. I am not chastising or hating anyone, no need to do so, but the use of gear is bad news on all levels. To each his/her own. As we age and try to push our bodies beyond what we were designed for, it's just a matter of time the body will fail, especially with the use of gear - walking timebomb. So, good for you my friend. At 52 (even younger) it's just on the edge when serious health issues could start if not already (most people on gear don't talk about these health issues until they are incapacitated). Hope you can have a long and bright career!
This man is a great example for those who struggle with weight problems, he doesn't shame, he knows how fat can be turned into muscle. Alot of people in the usa don't know that... they just hurt each other because they are different... but seeing this video is a great example of how you encourage people to do more than just settle down. We all can be strong as long as we stay on track and promise ourselves we won't give up on a healthy lifestyle. ^^b thanks for sharing this video. Very inspirational.
Fat cannot be converted into muscle. Amino acids become muscle tissue when you build muscle, and fat becomes energy when you lose fat. Both can happen simultaneously, but both are completely different mechanisms.
Fat doesn’t convert to muscle. It’s true that the more muscle mass you have, the more energy you burn by simply existing. If you burn more energy than you take in, then you use your energy stores (fat), but you don’t necessarily use the fat that is in the same spots where you’re building muscle. You can’t spot reduce fat.
Yeah, it's incredibly simple. Exercise, eat well, sleep. That's all there is to it. People can say it's more complicated than that but there's no point if you can't even get those first three things to be consistent.
I love the interaction in this video 😂 Great questions and responses!! The respect they have for eachother all while they admire his amazing physique makes me smile with so much love for Korea and its culture.. I miss Korea and my ROK Army brothers SOO MUCH 😔 😢

When it's culture half the times that's insincere.
@@vkak1 I'm sure you're right, but to me it's a good gesture either way 😊.
@@jmaaybraak you are 100% right, sincere or not I just love it
Tbh I also find colloquials like “have a good day” “Stay safe take care” very heartwarming as an East Asian; even tho most of the times it’s prob just out of cultural manners
As a Bodybuilder myself, I enjoyed his humbleness, very refreshing. Some of us get really arrogant.
Yes, stay humble because the state of a bodybuilder is very temporary. The body can't stay in that extreme state forever, particularly as one get into middle age.
@@cnwil4594 i'm 52, have 22inch arms and squat close to 700lbs for reps..Kids half my age cant even do that. I plan to train till rhe wheels fall off .
I don't advocate any form of PEDs. But, again, to each his/her own; it's their life. I want to live as healthy life as possible as I age.... Peace✌😎

You can’t spot reduce fat.
many people need to understand that anything is possible and that their lives would be so much better if they stopped making excuses
Yeah, it's incredibly simple. Exercise, eat well, sleep. That's all there is to it. People can say it's more complicated than that but there's no point if you can't even get those first three things to be consistent.
